Texas trying to close Killeen center where baby allegedly assaulted

I'm sure that Ms. Haile is everything that you said and probably more. It's a shame that a child was taken advantage of by one of her employees at her place of business. It's a real shame actually. This woman was responsible for this child. This horrible act happened in her facility, and under her care. You'd better believe she is responsible for what happens there, and whoever goes in, and out of those doors. This isn't about race. This is about a child being injured in her facility. If the person in question loves kids so much she'd make sure these kids are safe.

Its also disturbing that she denied that he was an employee, but now has has to admit he is. As far as this being a racial issue, the confessed abuser is also black. Black on Black crime is one of the highest crime categories in the U.S. Quit blaming the whites for your failures.

look at the shootings in killeen and who (99%)did them!go to a school as a visitor and see how things go and who is skipping the most and who stands up in class the most, interrupts class, stand by the door ten minutes before the bell rings. you need to become more educated and speak about what you know.

I really think the person that started this thread did so as a joke, or a commentary on how some will see this as a race issue. I see it as a sick SOB that needs to be put under the jail. He confessed, that should be end of trial, move straight to turning him loose on a live fire range at Fort Hood.

For everyone that is making this an issue of race, shame on you.

It was an innocent child that was assaulted - it shouldn't matter what color the child nor the offender was.

The offender should be tried and convicted to the fullest extent of the law if found guilty.

As for the center being closed, everyone I know will NEVER take their children anywhere near there because they cannot insure the safety of their children. If I do not feel as though my children will be safe out of my sight with someone that is supposed to be caring for them, I will find other venues.

Racism is still alive and unfortunately well. When things like this happen it only fuels the fire, which is truly sad.

If it had been an innocent black child that was assaulted, would you all feel this compassionate as well? I would hope so. A child is a child - plain and simple.
