A new look for books: Beloit library has a fresh feel and more space

It is a shame that the Beloit Library will no longer be in it's beautiful original downtown home in the Classic Library building that housed it for generations. All because of the greed of a developer and his beloit government pawns. If the old Beloit Mall was so desperate for tenants, why did the city agree to the expense of moving the library up there just so one company could profit on its investment in that white elephant property. There should be an investigation into who rammed this through the city government and why. Libraries are a city service for their residents, not a plum tenant for a well heeled developer to bailout a wrong way investment in a failed commercial property.

they did not choice to it was gave to the city of beloit by one of the rich man husman in beloit whoo had past away the ABC company owner so it was move and now it look alot nice with all the money they have put in to the beloit libary and i jus dont see how that could be a bad thing and yes it look nice but when sum one gave a nice builting like that and it also easyer to get but there not really people who llive in down town and there more parking at the new building and you also have kids for the two middle school and high school that now do there home work at the high school
