Full story: A1 - HOME - Top Stories

A former Laconia, N.H., man has been sentenced to 21/2 to eight years in prison for causing a motorcycle crash that killed his girlfriend in 2007. no one made her drink that night, she was offered many rides home from many of us, her blood alcohol level was hagher than his, and she chased him down the road, we all saw that, for her to get on the bike with him, he didnt want her on the bike because the roads were so bad, why didnt that get brought up in court? too many people lyed in this case, its too bad she was nice, but mike was a great guy, too bad his friends didnt stick by him.

I dont know either one of them.. but IMO, they were both wrong.. BUT.. he was ultimatly resposible for 2 lives, his and hers, not to mention anyone else that might have been killed.. HE was driving, he was the only one in control of that bike.. he made a bad decision to ride impaired. im sure he feels awful for what happened but people have GOT to learn not to drink and drive EVER.. there is no reason for it and no excuse

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Virgo

Be careful you don't wind up doing someone else's work today, Virgo. There are all sorts of little tricks to persuade you to take pity on them, from pretending to be ill to making such a hash of everything that you can't bear to watch for a moment longer. Then you are likely to be asked to put in some overtime, at the expense of your social life. Grr.
