Belmont city manager arrested for DWI after crash
Belmont City Manager Barry Webb told colleagues he made a mistake after being arrested for driving while impaired Friday morning.

It's a judgement call! If you can't decide that you shouldn't be driving after a night of wining and dining, I question your judgement? There was a crash involved and you should be thankful that someone wasn't seriously injured at his judgement. It's about accountability people. Stop letting people off the hook when they make a conscience decision to screw up.

1 He may be a good ole boy, How many times has he NOT been caught or stopped by Belmont police and warned them that if he was cited they could look for other employment? HUH ... HUH !!! Past city managers have done so as well as other city officials! He was caught this time because of the accident What are the odds of being caught or being in an accident the first time. The drinkers that I have known don't drink only at home or if there is a designated driver. It's a regular occurance. |
