Hmmm... Shot in the foot? Sounds like the cop's gun went off while he was pointing it at the ground. It is pretty obdvious from the story, by the way, that the cops were not shooting up towards the apartment from the ground. They went into this guys apartment and shot him inside. They obdiviously did not have a warrant either. If the cops were really scared this guy would hurt them, they would not have pointed their gun at the ground. Something is fishy here. I think the cops really screwed this up.
