The 30 day period to file an appeal has come and gone, Steven Gaston has again failed to do what he promised. Talk is very cheap and Gaston is full of talk. When is he going to apologize to the David City community for the time, money and embarassment that he caused through his constant search for validation as a human being.

time for another recall. the mayor doesn't get it. i was hoping for more humility and service.

I have been an avid supporter of Mr. Trowbridge through out this entire ordeal. I am now embarrassed to admit that it appears that Steven Gaston was correct. He and his supporters have tried to tell us what was going to happen and we were blinded by foolish devotion and I for one now wish I had listened and had been active in the recall effort.

I have to wonder if Bill has actually been paying attention to what has occurred in the last few weeks. This can not possibly considered to be in the best long term interest of David City.

What has happened in David City this week is one of the best fixes for a long term problem that we've had in years. Sunday is a very nice guy, but is an absolute zero in the management of a Police Department. EMBARASSED, don't feel bad, you've been on the correct side all along, Gaston has never been right, and he's not right now. You will never know the real truth about how bad our PD has been. Recently three of the four full time officers had been fired from previous police jobs and took advantage of the good nature of Steve Sunday for their own benefit. This week is a wonderful cleansing of a bad department which now has a chance to begin getting better. Keep the faith, don't let the loud mouth fools get to you.

Early on in this recall thing I listened to Steve G. and really liked what I heard, I signed the petitions and talked against the Mayor. As time went forward, I started talking to my neighbors and began learning that Steve didn't always tell the truth, he mixed up some truth and mostly lies to fool me. Now he is twisting the truth again and trying to make the problems that some City guys (police) did be the fault of the Mayor or Mr. Johnson. Think for yourselves people, the problems that we have with our City guys is not the fault of the Mayor or Mr. Johnson, they are a fault of the City guys themselves and they must make it right with the City. Instead of making it right, they quit and walk away. Then they point their fingers ar the Mayor and Mr. Johnson and make them be the bad guys. Only a really stupid citizen would fall for that trick. Are you that stupid?

well the city admistrator has resigned and will leave early in dec. the chief of police has resigned immediately. mr broman has resigned. now if the mayor cannot get the picture, he is a blind man. i guess he thinks if he gets rid of the police of david city that he can run the county officers to his advantage. gee maybe he can. i am sure hecker will be too smart for the mayor. he might be next.

gee aaa guess who is the loser. you notice that the adminstrator got the picture. I am sure the mayor was making him lie. the paper of course has to lie also. it will be interesting to read this weeks. they will have to hunt for a way to make all this sound good for the mayor. bannker press also must lie to make the mayor sound really smart.

i am proud to thin we have at least one person not afraid to stand up to the mayor . no even the council can do that. the admistrator is leaving no police chief and one other police office quit. what does that tell you???? several more are on the mayor's ax list. it better not be you AAA. what would happen then????

You clowns ever think? We are headed where we should have been for the past 20 years, one hell of an expensive police department, but at least one that can function. You people talk like a bunch of criminals who like no law enforcement, just like we had.
