I am shocked and stunned to even consider the thought that the organization which is supposed to be overseeing the safety of out most important providers of the future OUR CHILDREN is so lack, unaware and dysfunctional that they are allowing people under the influence of mind altering substances to be in any proximity of young innocents never mind having them in a position which could lead to their being maimed, crippled or worse. I believe it is also those who should be watching out for OUR CHILDREN that should share in the punishment of those who are so irresponsible as to put their welfare in in harms way. Those in charge should be brought to bear in the responsibility of these horrendous actions and face legal action for their inability to do what is required and expected of them

Is it necessary to be so rude when responding to a person's opinion? I hope you don't speak that way to everyone you disagree with.

David, I understand your shock and incredulity concerning this matter. However, I am quite certain that the body which accepted her for hire will share in any repercussions stemming from her idiocy. Also, we will have the satisfaction of knowing that this person will never again have any job relating to driving a bus or working with children. In fact, I wonder what sort of employment she will ever obtain. I wouldn't want her bagging my groceries or mowing my lawn! It's a real pity when a person violates a position of trust; they lose much more than their current job, and may never gain back even their self-respect. But we can bet our bottom dollar that any other person in her position will be much more careful after this. I am just thankful that those children arrived at their destination unharmed, because it's certain she wasn't altogether straight while they were on that bus.

I'm surrounded by junkies, every corner of this godforsaken state is awash with these pill-popping future heroin addicts. I'm disgusted with it, I've had enough of being robbed, lied to, and manipulated by these people.

I've lived in Massachusetts for five or six years now, and I would consider moving just to get away from the junkies.

I read a report a while back that said if you distributed all the narcotic pain pills that were prescribed in Berkshire County to the residents in a year, every resident would have 100 pain pills. The doctors that pass this stuff out because they don't have time to be nagged by junkies need to have their licences revoked.

The junkies, who knows what to do with them, force em to dry out and they'll just go back. It's like they're practically lost forever. We have methadone clinics that seem to help curb the crime associated with the addiction, but they're by no means perfect. Plenty of methadone users sell their methadone on the street, so the rest of us are stuck paying for their expensive treatment program, only to find out that it's just another source of drugs to be exploited like any other source by junkies.

I'd consider deporting them, but who would take them?(deport the docs too!)

I wonder if the former Portland police officer who was sentenced to 5 yrs. in prison for infant/child porn used illegal drugs. Or the former Ocean Springs police officer who also went to prison for 5 yrs. for child porn. Or the former Conn. police captain who was sentenced to 10 yrs. in prison after he was caught with 26,000 images and videos showing young boys being sexual abused, including infants and toddlers. Or maybe they're just born depraved deviants like the former Massachusetts police officer who raped a 2-year-old with a hot curling-iron.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Libra

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
