Has anyone read between the lines here. The Judge even sees it. "Mr. Severson, the whole episode has been a mystery to me as to what Mark Hardyman 's purpose was in giving all this money away, " Crabb said. "His arrangement in investing more and more money in less and less profitable businesses was goofy. "
Who gave the money to him? The bank! Why didn't the bank try to recover the assets? If I default on my home, the bank forecloses! Now the customers are being held responsible for the banker not doing hir/her job? Come on?

Apparently you can't read between the lines.

Were not several of his felony convictions for money laundering?

Come on, the guy was a huge crook, ripping hard working people and businesses for millions and millions of dollars.

His previous felony conviction for fraud, dealt with one of his earlier businesses and not the bank.

This guy deserves everything coming his way.

You need to open your eyes to the real story, not the silly spin coming out of the Severson camp.

I am as well confused why the bank did not try to recop anything? Why did the banker keep shelling out money?

I think there is more to the story here and no one is talking, just taking their punishment.

Something smells here.
