See! Change is bad, right? The old stuff in the best stuff? You're a curmudgeon. A typical, angry, Republican, blaming everyone else for everything, taking no responsibility. YOU are the problem>
I was actually enjoying this thread until you made this stupid comment. Stay in the miserable hate-mongering and idea bashing threads and leave this one alone, will you?

I liked the A-Team, Knight Rider, Magnum PI, MacGuyver, The Greatest American Hero. Also, Little House on the Prairie. That is a show I would like to sit down and rewatch someday with my daughter. The Dukes of Hazzard was another favorite. Most of these shows are corny to watch nowadays, but they were really exciting when I was younger.

For those that don't have cable or satellite, channel 44.1 has a lot of our old faves on it. Andy Griffith, Partridge Family, Brady Bunch, Little House on the Prairie, Bonanza, Hazel(!), Mister Ed, Gomer Pyle, etc. Of course, the rest of the time, it's the Jesus channel.

There's also channel 4.2, called Retro Television Network. You can catch Magnum PI on there different times, Kojak, Emergency (John Gage - hubba!), and on Saturdays it's Wagon Train, Laredo, etc.

couldn't wait for Sun. night to order pizza ( or make it when the parents were broke) and watch Columbo. Not the favorite show, but a nice family time for all of us.
My young nieces and nephews have all watched brady bunch and think it is a new show. Great fun.

Ohhhhhh......Night Stalker! I remember watching that on Friday nights and being scared to death. I also use to watch "Dark Shadows"! Something about those vampire movies!

Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Knight Rider
I agree they are pretty corny looking back on them now, but they were rockin' back then.

I recommend that you get your daughter the "Little House" books. Great Series of books, My Auntie started me on them back in the'50's. A new book every Christmas. My daughter read them and I bought my Granddaughter the series. We all enjoyed the Little House TV show.

I have a friend who read the books to his sons, and they enjoyed them. I'll go to the library and see if they are available. It might be nice to own them too.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Aries

There are good indications in the areas of career, a relationship with somebody you admire or with work in general (regardless whether it is housework or paid work). This is an excellent time to reorganise how you do your daily tasks and to send off your resume, or go for a job interview. You may receive helpful advice from a co-worker: if you are waiting for news from a parent or authority figure, you should have it soon.
