What ever happened to the OC that JB chose? I heard he came in hot and all intense and then I did not see him nor hear about him anymore for the rest of the season. If he was such a guru, then why in the world did our offense struggle so much in the later part of the season and require our defense to pratically live on the field? Wasn't the new OC's name PJ Cumber or something like that?
Jon McCumber.

i would MUCH rather have someone from out of the system, as they would have no "political" ties. Meaning we would be closer to the 100% earned positioning we need in all of our programs, as opposed to this who do you know, whats your last name B.S.

I'm in the Indian Lake district. I'll gladly give you coach Coburn.
He's a nice guy to hang out with but can't coach much more than a "500 season."
I'm sorry if this offends Coburn fans but the facts are the facts.

I agree somewhat, but you will still have the brown-nosing parents pimping their so called all-star sons to the new coach. Within 2 years the same politicing practice will once again dominate.

I would say that depends on who they hire. I heard a rumor that our defensive coach was interested in the Bellefontaine job. Let me tell you he don't play favorites, anyone who's been around him will tell you that. It don't matter who you are, your son is, how good he is, if he's not doing what he thinks he should be he won't play.
All I can say is I hope y'all hire inside.

LOL..I would not want the job that is if I were certified to become the next coach! However I am sure that the AD will get the right person for the job. I think that Chris, Biff, Rick and all the others that have been mentioned would be great for the football team. All these men have helped coach Bellefontaine Athletics over the past couple of years and I would support any of them!!

Why in the world would Toby Smith leave his palace/dynasty that he has created in both FB and BB there at WLS? BHS already has a baseball coach and have no gym/health openings for Sir Toby to slide into. Toby Smith will stay in orange and black. If Toby was going to leave, he would have taken the UHS job. Sorry ITM.

I would consider Mike Meeker. He's a former player who has coaching experience and would bring a btough mentality to the game.

Mike Meeker would be a good choice. I heard that Rich Rodriguez did steal Meeker's offense and take it with him to both WV and "that place up north." I say, give it to Meeker under the condition that he paints his face up for every game on the sidelines.

Todd Weeks could be the strength, conditioning,& self defense coordinator under Meeker too. Wow, maybe then people would have the kind of coaching staff that makes the entire community proud.

Marty Reeves as strength & conditioning coach and the chiefs could work out in his gym. Mike Mays could be the pharmacy tech.

Mike Meeker you can't be serious...The only game he played in for bellefontaine was for senior night! I really can't imagine him getting hired since they won't even let him sub. for gym class anymore.
