The Fort Hood shooter was a Manchurian Candidate put in place by the government in order to whip people into an anti-Muslim frenzy.

Think about it- the federal government just put a man with the last name of MUHAMMAD (John Allen) and right before that, a man named HASSAN terrorized and killed our soldiers.

This is all just a pre-text for attacking Iran, and increasing our aggression in that area.

Maj. Hasan is Obama's second cousin, right? I see your point. Minor problem with your scenario: Maj. Hasan is a Palestinian Arab, not a Persian from Iran, right? Ah well, they're all alike and related over there in Sandland anyway, aren't they?

With the wars going on in both Iraq and Afganistan I do not see the U.S attacking Iran. Both of those wars are not being accepted very well as they have both been dragging on with minimal success.

Just because the Ft. Hood shooter followed a certain religion does not mean everyone that follows that religion are bad people. Not all muslims are out to kill Americans and we need to stop lumping them all into one barrel. We need to move away from the stereo-typing of other human beings because of their race and religious preferences.

Hey dummy, those minor details do not matter to the average idiot American. Ask the next ten people you see what a Persian is and you'll 10 people that answer, "A Persian is a rug, silly." You give the general population far too much credit.

Besides, the MSM (Main Stream Media) is reporting that this guy is of Jordanian descent. Mark my words, a troop surge is coming and we will be tangled up in an Iranian conflict all too soon.

Modern day Jordan is part of what was called Persia. Where is this troop surge going to occur? The president has already agreed to sending 40,000 more troops to Afganistan. Is that what you are calling a troop surge?

I completely agree, from a personal point of view. But, you can't project your beliefs onto the general American public. The mass of average Americans might agree on the surface, but they are being manipulated by the MSM into having an irrational fear/loathing of "Muslims" which plays right into the existing stereotypes that exist (a play out of the handbook of social engineering of our politicians).

The existing stereotype is not only reenforced but also amplified. Perfect for whipping people into a franzy. Now, all they need is some major incident and they will take advantage of the situation to attack Iran.

Ask 10 people what an "Afghan" is and you'll get 10 answers that say, "An afghan is a blanket on the back of my couch."

No, that is what the MSM is calling a troop surge. Don't confuse what you believe with what the MSM tries to portray. The snakes are very subtle.

No, it is a hound.
Because of not profiling is what caused all these deaths. Is the Major in an induced coma? I hope not, I want him to suffer and have a long, painful death. Not a trial and a little needle and poof it is over in 5 minutes.

I would not try to project my beliefs on anyone. I do agree that the MSM does report these kind of things with a certain amount of dramatics and flair. But that is what they do and it is up to the individual as to how they want to interpret what they report. I don't believe that the majority of Americans have a general dislike or mistrust of all muslims. The society in which we live has more of an open mind then that.

Yes there are those that choose to believe everything the MSM reports as gospel. But the people of our country either know or have met many decent law abiding muslims who only want to live like anyone else. In peace and have their slice of the American dream. So the MSM can't and doesn't really influence how most Americans look at a certain race of people or religion.

Now ask those same ten people what an "Afgani" is and see what response you get. It is all in how you word it as to the reply you receive.

Basically, the average U.S. soldier and the average U.S. citizen play no role in launching armadas or sending armies into battle. Individual units may massacre the people they come into contact with, but it's the generals and higher-ups who make the major decisions. It's been known for decades that the government and the mass media can brainwash the citizenry in no time at all. Give them an incident, even a staged one, and a few days, and they will have the population ready for all-out war. That is nothing new. If you walked into any barber shop in the 1950s or 1960s you would hear somebody lambasting Presidents Truman and Eisenhower for not using the H-bomb to wipe out Russia while we had the chance. They would have received such news with open arms. To suggest peaceful coexistence was to be suspected of being a pinko Commie creep.

this man knows a lot, they've kept him alive for a good reason, I am excited to see how this will play out as far as media goes, information, connections, he's the missing link they've been looking for.

Be careful, that kind of talk is dangerous. The MSM is a great tool for the social engineers of this country.

Missing link who has been looking for? I am not following what you are trying to say. Do you think he is a major figure of a large plot by Al Qaida?

Are you saying that the individual American is not able to make up their own mind without influence from the media?

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
