Somethingsphishy when Obama still plays the blame game. Come on, your the one that pushed 7 billion in stimulus down our throats and "promised unemployment would NOT go over 8%" Somethingsphishy about that kind of leadership.

remember when Obama promised if the stimulus package passed unemployment would not go over 8%? yes, it started under bush and the democratic controlled congress, but its Obama's baby now. the community organizer is in over his head. he has raked up so much debt, and the stimulus did little of what was promised. The number of jobs created was overstated to begin with, and each job it did create has cost the taxpayer well over a 100000 each. You liberals are gullible for falling for his smoke and mirrors, and in 3 more years you still will blame Bush. Our country is weakening with each new debt ceiling, and you are to blame!

FACT: The economy was getting worse when Obama was elected and took the oath of office.

FACT: The problem was not entirely Bush's fault. It was an accumulation of years of poor policies (we can trace it back 100 years).

FACT: Obama said the stimulus would begin fixing the problems immediately, despite what some experts said.

FACT: The stimulus has failed to reach any of the benchmarks the administration set for it.

FACT: The administration has taken no steps to prevent a similar crisis from happening in the future, despite Obama's pledge to do so.

FACT: The talk of a full recovery (on unemployment) is no longer 2010 or 2011. Now, the administration and experts are saying after the 2012 election.

FACT: Unemployment has hit 10.2% but does not include the "discouraged" workers. When those are included, the number jumps to 17.5%.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/07/business/ec...

For a definition of a discouraged worker:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discouraged_work...

FACT: This recovery is starting to look like the recovery from The Great Depression. There is a cause for alarm because I do not see a wide-scale world war looming on the horizin...which pulled us out of the depression due to the wartime buildup.

FACT: Obama made the economy his problem when he took the measures he did.

What did Bush say? I think it was something like,"There is no recession"
This economic mess is here, it came on Bush's watch. Did he create it? Probably not but his attitude towards economics didn't help.
Some Republicans say to do nothing was the answer, that seems to be their mantra, do nothing and say no.
It's funny watching all of you small town economic wizards, there is one thing for certain, none of you know what you're talking about.

At the time Bush said that, the economic data did support what he said.

It is just like right now. Obama and his team of experts (as well as many economists) say the recession is over. The economic data shows that.

It kind of falls on deaf ears when the people are not seeing and feeling a recovery.

Right?

Obama's has given away trillions of dollars. Now he wants to spend 1.2 Trillion on a health plan that the majority of Americans don't want.

What is he going to do when he can't blame Bush for everthing. How about stop blaming and do something about the current situation. Uemployment is at the highest rate it has been in 26 years.

He doesn't like this country and says so. He does not respect the flag that millions died for. He acts like a school boy, playing grownup. Unfortunatly, he is the president and is ruining our country.

Stand up and be a PRESIDENT

GOD BLESS AMERICA

I was watching a news show a few days ago and they said that Bush ran the deficit to over 1 trillion and Obama has only run it up a quarter of a trillion so far.

Today's figures are a result of the policies of the Bush administration, along with the cost of actions needed to address the recession and prevent even deeper economic problems.

You know, BUSH IS NO LONGER PRESIDENT Clinton had us in debt long before Bush was elected...twice.

Obama needs grow up, stop blaming and move forward. He is a coward in my opinion. He is giving us excuses. He is his best friend and doesn't care about what you think.

You can't look at this present economic situation without revisiting the past to see where it originated, to do otherwise would be foolish.
If all you've been around are other dumbasses how can you learn anything? I know some pretty old dumbasses.

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
