Sure, there are some very negative gang members that hell; I would even cross the street to avoid. Do you think that the media and society helped him evolve in to the person he is today. I think that maybe if just one person took an hour and attempted to understand a person like this one would be able to see beyond the exterior and realize that there is a human in there. He might even be a man that has fears, loves, and dreams and yes even has ambitions.
It is so much easier for people to point a finger and criticize others when just as easily we could extend our hands out and understand.

Good insight. I came out of that background, fairly hard core and was lucky to have people that cared enough to get my a$$ out (of LA) and into academics and sports.
