Let me see if I understand this correctly: A person buys a home in a known flood area, buys flood insurance, and now that the home is flooded, they expect the taxpayer to foot the bill for their unwise choice of living location in the first place. If you choose to buy along a river that historically floods or in an area that county records show that floods, and you go ahead and buy anyway, tell me what kind of thinking says that others should pay for your stupidity?

I totally agree with you. It never made sence to me why people would live where they know it is going to flood there house.

so why should we pay for the hurricane victims by virtue of the addon to our home owners ins as well?

At least the person in a flood area is paying for their own ins for this purpose and not being taxed or forced to pay for others.

So whats you feeling on paying for welfare? or unemployment when they make more on a state check than working?? Its ashamed that it pays more to do less isn't it? But them again its what happens when people want to be taken care of and all of their decisions made for them. no responsibility its the way the countries people have headed

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Sagittarius

Moodiness is never far away today, making you over-react to problems and giving you a tendency to take out your feelings on your nearest and dearest. If someone asks you what's really wrong, you'll struggle to explain and may even have to give up because you can't put it into words. It's like an itch that you can't scratch, and you don't know where it stems from or what it means.
