I used to live right there, and this will be a welcomed result. People turning out of the neighborhoods there often have to wait at the light for 5 minutes or more for their turn to go. With even more homes being built, this is definitely going to be a big help.

40,000 cars a day go through that intersection.
39,500 on highway 75, 500 on 111Th street so.
Instead of spending $12 million on a construction project that will be a roadblock for a year, Why don't they spend $500.00 bucks and just take out the lights.
There surely must be someone who is very important who lives on the east side of highway 75 to get all the road improvements in that area of Jenks.
new 4-5 lane Elm (Peoria) street from Main, South to 121st st.so.
new intersection with traffic lights at 121st st. so and Elm.
They installed a worthless traffic light at 131st st. so and Elm (Peoria) The car count at that intersection is "a few thousand cars" on Elm, 12 on 131st st so.
Come on DOT, Who has got you in their back pocket??

It is about time this serious problem is addressed. There have been too many accidents and some were fatalities. I live west of there and trying to get on Hwy 75 from 111th especially when it is foggy is thrilling at times. The traffic light is timed at only 12 seconds which allows very few cars to get on the highway. Can't wait for this to be completed.

This is going to be great when complete. I feel sorry for the people who live out there that work in Tulsa. It's going to be ruff for the next year getting back and forth. Hwy 75 also sees heavy turck use. Those truckers are going to be mad.

Of course development pushed south. It darn sure isn't going to push north into the ghetto.

This light has caused nothing but trouble since the day it was installed, why in the heck did this take so long to remove? I don't buy the excuse that there is more traffic now, this has always caused headaches for everyone since day one.

So, is 111th St going to be completely cut off from 75 with this overpass? No on-ramps? They should take those stoplights and move them to the Sapulpa interchange because traffic is already getting worse down there thanks to that new Wal-Mart. It will get even more so once 111th St is cut off.
You will be able to get on 75 northbound from 111th and you will be able to exit from 75 Southbound onto 111th. If coming from the south you will have to exit 121st and take a new frontage road to 111th. Same thing if you want to go south on 75 from 111th
