Daycare @ Dunlap City Hall

Is the Dunlap city hall now a daycare? Here lately every time i go inside, there is the mayors daughter running around playing behind the counters under the city workers feet, printing and playing with city equipment. Will the city employees at city hall be able to work sufficienty with a child running rampent when they are to be concentrating on their work and with us the public. Also, just wondering if us, the tax payers, are now paying for the mayors child care.

Do you have nothing good to say? I'm glad he is a father who is taking care of his child.

the town was corrupt before Land became mayor,now it is going to be even worse. It's all in who you know to decifer if you get away with certain things or NOT.... So if you are in the CLIC you are good to go and do what the hell you want to do in this town.

so its ok to take you child to a constrution site since "dad" is a good dad and he is going to do his job with a child running around. Mr.Land is our Mayor, he is to be committed to the residents of this town from 7-4 mon-fri, his home time is that after 4. a good this is though, you dont have to go to the bar to find him at 9 in the mornings.

The mayor's office is not the Pentagon and be glad any father spends time with their children.

This is a low point even for topix. I am never amazed by how low people will go. So instead of posting here, call him. Go see him and discuss it.

This is a small town and everyone's laundry will end up on topix including yours and mine. Be nice and talk to each other. That is what people are supposed to do.

I think it is just tacky as hell to write something on here about the Mayor's child. It shows a complete lack of class and character. Dwain is a great person and father. There is nothing at all wrong with him taking that beautiful little girl to the office with him. Hell, I run 2 businesses out of my office and I bring all three of my girls work with me every day. Sounds to me like somebody needs to get a life.

if he is taking care of his daughter she wouldnt be running around the building
that is not taking care of a child

Do we need to pack a lunch or do they provide lunch and snacks? And what about field trips...Do the kids get to go to into court, run around at the jail, and the local emergency room?

I'm sorry I just had to do that....a private owned business and a local government office is all together different. I don't see bankers bringing their children to work with them. It is so funny how some people just don't see common sense very well. And Mom of 3.... nothing was said bad about his daughter.

What does one do if they are an editor on news topix? Can you stop some ones post from being posted? Can anyone become an editor? Im just wondering how it all works? They consider deleting the discussion parts for $19.95. They delete very few. Not so much the sites fault because they have one in every country, city, county and state.

Half truths, lies, defamation and ought right slander are common .
There have been several cases of courts making them turn over the offenders. Texas has made them and a couple other stated.

I happen to see common sense very well and i dont see that Dwain taking his daughter to work is anybodys business.I love my kids and feel very fortunate to bring them to work with me. There are so many parents out there that would love to have that option. So , to you, mom and dad plus 5...Why don't you just try to get over it, worry bout taking care of your own kids, and just mind your own business? I mean really, is Dwain taking his little girl to work with him affecting your life drastically???? You have made your point. It's time to let it go now.

I remember this son playing in his fathers office quite often.

I think that it's sad that someone had to get over here and talk about his daughter. How low is that? People Grow up!
