Does anyone know much about this daycare? I am looking for a good daycare for my son. All the good ones like Giggles N Scribbles are full in my sons age.

Is that the one out towards Valley View? At the turn off for Griffin Park subdivision? If it is then the management before this one was involved in a scandal of sorts. And BTW, I don't know but I bet the original owners are still active there. I bet in order to regain enrollment they passed over the official title of manager to the owner's sister or her best friend who both worked there. I don't know that, but I bet that is what they did.

The scandal: The owners joined a local swingers group that they found (or created online). The female owner ended up in a 'love' relationship with one of the men she would swap with and left her husband and he his wife. Her husband, all out of sorts about this, saw the 'lover' man in traffic one day and rammed his car into the lovers car in what the police called an attempted murder. I understand that it was only a matter of days before enrollment was next to nothing.

My child went there briefly before all this happened. I had a brief exchange of hostile words with the female owner because she treated me with absolute hostility and contempt. Keep in mind now, I paid by the month in advance, out of my pocket, not the government voucher system so payment was not an issue. I don't know why she disliked me so. I told her that my son would not continue to attend because there was a possibilty that she would project the feelings of hostility she held for me onto my son and I could not risk that.

I think the name of the female owner was tiffany or linda or something like that. Linda may have been the sister...

He was probably 3 at the time.

Thanks but I am scared of those unless I really knew them. I'm on a couple of waiting lists but I really need something soon.

Give ACQUIRE a call. They keep up with the daycares in town (openings, ages, prices, etc). Call ASU Childhood Services and ask for Jo Battle.

We got into Giggles n Scribbles after all, we were way down the list but luckily she called. Thanks for everyones help!

the new owners are great people who run a fabulous day care. the old owners with all the scandal have nothing to do with the place. their staff is well trained and they are in good standing with all the agencies they are suppossed to be in good standing with.

I know nothing of the daycare but I live in the neighborhood behind it. Everyday when I drive by there, there are 3-5 people standing on the side of the road smoking. It really looks gross. Then when they finish smoking, they throw all their butts down in the gutter along side the road...it makes for an attractive site in the front of the daycare. I understand that they don't want employees smoking on the property but I think it would look better to potential customers if there were no employees standing across the street puffing away...Just my opinion...

The daycare is not that bad. The people that are outside puffing away don't have anything to do with potential customers. The only thing a lot of parents look at is what the kids do during the day. So, don't dis the daycare a because of employees across the road. They clean it once a week.

A daycare worker that smokes, even outside, then goes inside and holds babies and the poor baby has to breath in all that poison. Daycare works should only be nonsmokers. Ask a doctor about the dangers.

So does anyone know how that daycare is going. I thoguht it would be the first to close in the valley view area.

This daycare is HORRIBLE!!!

my daughter attends this day care and she loves it. the teachers are all really nice. a few of the classes go through teachers quickly, but my daughter has attended for almost a year and has had the same teacher the entire time. her teacher is so wonderful and teaches my daughter so much! i did notice that recently the receptionists have changed, and when i inquired about it the reasoning was very vague. if my daughters teacher ends up leaving, however, i will put her in a different school.

the girl person that owned or owns it . that mess was not the first time she cheated even with out swing club. A friend our son got involved with her about 3 yrs before that cause her boyfriend/hubby wanted her to get my experience can you believe that. She had this green young man believe she was going to stay with him too. He is luck she married this other man

They really have a few issues there. My child has had the same teacher all year, but he is MUCH younger than the other kids in his class (almost 2 yrs) isn't this illegal? every time i pick him up he is filthy! I think part of this is because they are expecting the older kids (most are going to kindergarten next year) to clean their own faces, and he still doesnt do it with the greatest accuracy.
