Why is Gauley Bridge still a city? A fizzled out coal camp, pushing paperwork to keep their Municipal Funding. Atleast they weren't making the State Required 1 DUI arrest per police officer 10 hour patrol shift requirement unethically. And now somebody's going to jail for it. Jail overcrowding..... These policemen were seemingly keeping the peace, their job, chose to lie to the system rather than manufacturing criminals and are now criminals themselves.

This explains a lot to me. All the unsolved robberies in Beckley and our best chance to find a cop in action is on New River Drive on a Saturday night giving sobriety tests. And its never just one cruiser, I'll bet all those cops get credit. If only GB new all the tricks instead of moral integrity.

I believe you are missing the point tt2. They chose to not victimize innocent motorists with a dui arrest just to drop after evidentiary requirements could not be met because they were not guilty (The BPD method)so the city can keep their funding by doing so (as per the state requirements GB falsified). Read the article tt2, one DUI arrest every 10hour patrol...... just to keep your job. If the police were doing their job (keeping the peace) such blatent criminality would not exist. Click the blue letters, then read, then think, THEN post.

Uhhh...according to the paper...Gauley Bridge Officers that were potentially involved in this fiasco have left law enforcement and gone to the mines. Spread your filth elsewhere.

Can anyone with certainty confirm for us that 130 Cohen St. is not in Beckley Inc. city limits, and if so why do Beckley City Works personnel traffic that street in BCW vehicles? Other than BUCK STOVE/remote truck starter shopping turn arounds? Seriously oh yea.

Google the address and you'll clearly see on google maps the city boundary. It's out. Or, you could call the city police and confirm. Or, you could use common sense and realize that if the city pd isn't handling it then it's out of their jurisdiction.

Were they not first at the scene, jurisdictionally speaking is the investigation not comprimised because a BPD officer "secured" the abandoned firearm before RCSD had opportunity to respond?

From the shooter thread

Not hate really Snazzierone, just realisms of the fact. Blacks in this particular community commit more comparative violent crime, a whole lot more. Most attribute this to the Cartel regime. Manuel Cartel and Beckley Housing, whom have ammassed an unreal amount of wealth through Federal grants rewarding mostly black families with free housing if they remain below the poverty line. In other words three or more generations have been taught it is best to survive in Beckley with an untraceable income (crime= usually drug sales)therefore live rent free with a greater (food stamp) food allowance than most. With the introduction of their drug's greatest competition (pharmacueticals/pills) this latest generation has to resort to other criminal acts. This being because the "few" successors of this community (drug importers/cocaine cookers) can no longer compete with the established/criminally immune physicians here now. Therefore post-pubescent ghetto grown predominantly black young dwellers of Beckley WV have no other right of passage to remain "home" without a shoot first/get mines mentality.

In the drivers handbook, it reads obey posted signs !! If you would obey the drivers handbook that you used to get your drivers licence, you would not have to pay any speeding tickets..And by the way, the officers DO NOT STOP ANYONE GOING ONLY 4 MPH OVER THE LIMIT. So pay attention to the road signs and stay off the cell phone...Gauley Bridge is plainly marked with many speed signs and most of them read"strictly inforced' What part of that don't you understand?? Except for speeding, there is no crime here in my little town of Gauley Bridge..Best little town in West Virginia.....Peace
