Conservatives versus the GOP

It seems that the lefties are crying crocidile tears of the RHINO that got ousted in the NY 23 Congressional District. Republican leadership is shaking its collective head figuring out what to do about those unruly conservatives who will not tow the party line. I hope those morons in the Republican Establishment can read the writing on the wall and stand up and start being conservatives and quit being democrat light. They let moderates and democrats chose their candidate in the last presidential election and how did that work out for them. There are a lot more conservative than liberals in this country and if the Republicans would just make a principled stand for conservative values, they could win landslides in 2010 and the white house in 2012. Somehow i doubt that they have the intestinal fortitude.

I found it amusing in 2008 when the left was screaming about talk radio being the voice of the Republican Party; when in fact all right wing talk radio was telling the republicans not to nominate Johm McCain. That is why when a real conservative like sarah palin speaks, the liberal sissys wet their pants. they know they can not stand up to real conservative principles. (dont get me wrong, i dont think palin is ready to be president either, but she is a good voice for the conservative message) and even more important she scares the hell out of liberals.

btw, why are liberals afraid of smart, attractive, conservative women? Especially liberal women. If you watch any of msnbc, i think rachel maddow has a crush on Liz Cheny. Sort of like the one jethro has on steve obrien.

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, then no one should have one.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat. If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants to ban all meat products for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly enjoys his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he loudly demands legislated respect.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A non-believing liberal wants to ban all mention of religion.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he shops for it or he chooses a job that provides it. A liberal demands that his neighbors pay for his health care.

I think that a lot of liberals do have empathy for their fellow man and do care for/about other people.

However, we need to recall that old saying about fishing. It goes something like this:

If we give a man a fish, he has food for the day. If we teach a man how to fish, then he has food for a lifetime.

Too many in the govt. are just throwing out fish to the masses in order to buy votes when they should be working harder to teach people HOW to fish.

How should people be fishing these days?

1. For starters, get an education and work with your children to read and to be learners for life. Kids in Asia study science and math during the summer. What do our kids do? Do we spend all of our extra money at the mall or do we take courses that will improve our job skills?

2. Teach your children the pride that comes from getting stuff honestly through hard work. Half of America doesn't want to work to provide for the other half of able-bodied people who just want to loaf. Most successful people that I know have been working more than forty hour weeks.

A liberal is only compassionate when they can spend other people's money. That is why they want to go after the "evil rich" while those that are in that rich category hire the best lawyers and accountants possible to keep from paying the taxes they have just said should be paid.

A liberal is only environmental when they can force their environmental constraints on others. Al Gore, de Caprio, Prince Charles flies --they fly all over the world saying how bad the fossil fuels they burn are for the environment and that we should not do it. Obama says we can't have our homes warm while he keeps the oval office blistering.

Rosie O' Donnell says we can't have guns to protect ourselves while surrounding herself with gun-toting bodyguards.

Liberals are hypocrites who hide behind their self-righteous lies of compassion, understanding, and tolerance.

Good post. Except I don't believe half of American people want to just loaf....maybe 25%. You can't be successful without hard work. I would like to know the percentage of people born to wealth who still work at some kind of job. I know a lot of wealthy people do volunteer work of some kind but that's still work and it's needed too.

Well, not everybody is capable of good posts but I suppose they fill a need also.......maybe to make other people happy they're not so narrow minded?

What exactly is a "Conservative Democrat?"...They still jack your taxes up at every opportunity, but they feel bad about it?:)

the RHINO in name and girth in NY 23 has just endorsed the democratic candidate in that race. Looks like the conservatives knew what they were doing by kicking her fat ass to the curb.

Split licker, that was one of the most ignorant posts i have ever read. A liberal taught me how to vote? I have been voting since i was 18 years old. It is you liberals that need Acorn to teach you how to vote. I agree...this ultra left thing, moderate thing, and whatever else is going on in the Democratic part is killing them...If the Republican "conservatives", moderate Republicans etc...go this same direction, then they will cut their own throats somewhere down the road.
