Jean Ann's on Oakwood street is awesome. I have been there 2 times with my daughter & both times different women waited on her like the beautiful bride to be should be. We went to Harvey's twice and were treated awfully by one young woman (relative) and very well by another. Will buy the $1500. dress from Jean Anns

I think you are a relative or employee of Harvey's.

In Beckley, I have purchased two formal dresses from JeanAnn's and a third from Harvey's. Both times we were very pleased with the service we received at JeanAnn's. Harvey's was hit and miss. First visit to pick out the dress was wonderful. Salesperson was exceptional!(Younger, long reddish hair, I think). When we went back to be fitted we were treated like lepers. Nobody would come near us. When I finally approached someone, she rudely told me that I would have to wait my turn. There were 2 ladies behind the counter talking who wouldn't even look at me. It was ridiculous. The original salesperson who helped us wasn't there. Same terrible customer service when we went back to get the dress. Had to wait until a taller, thin blonde lady finished her obviously personal phone call before she would acknowledge I was standing 12 inches in front of her. When I commented that the dress was wrinkled and could they steam it, she replied it had already been steamed and if I wanted it steamed again she would have to charge me. The dress was in one of those really flimsy plastic see through bags. The entire bottom half of the dress and train were hanging out the bottom. I asked if we could get it put into a garment bag (that were included for free with every other formal dress purchase I have ever made,) she said if I wanted a different bag she would have to charge me for it. She then took the bottom of the dress and wadded it up inside the plastic bag and tied a knot in the end! Never, NEVER again will I set foot into that store. And, I will tell anyone who mentions that store to me about my experience. For the record I am not a employee/family member or even friend of anyone working at either place. Just my personal experiences I have 4 more formal events coming up and eventually a huge wedding, all will be done with JeanAnn's!
