Obama would be at fault. He has repeatedly refuse to negociate on anything.

It wouldn't be my fault. I didn't vote Obama. He refuses to negociate. They have offered to give him everything but Obamacare funding.

We had the constitution when I was young and we had guns back then too. We also had respect for women and kids. The one thing we didn't have was drugs on every corner. We have created a worse generation not a better one.

The Republican Party is having a meltdown over their promises to constituents to repeal Obamacare when they should have known they couldn't do any such thing...now they want Obama and the Democrats to rescue them by caving in to their demands. Not going to happen. If they close down the government as they are threatening to do it will be on their heads...I can't wait for the 2014 midterm elections.

As for Luke saying that "They have offered to give him everything but Obamacare funding", let me remind you that just yesterday House Republicans voted to lop $40 billion from the food stamp program at a time when almost half the country is living in poverty. "Let the children starve, there will be more food for the rest of us."

That's similar to the Republican dislike of Obamacare...letting the poor have access to health care might interfere with THEIR access to health care. THAT is the long and the short of it.

That's 40 billion over 10 years, don't try to make it look like if is all at once. How are kids starving, they get 2 or 3 meals a day in school for free? They even let them take food home from school. If kids are going hungry at home then it is the fault of the crackhead parents that trade food stamps for drugs and no amount of food stamp spending will cut that out.

If this bill were to pass congress (which it won't), it's estimated that over 200,000 children would lose those free meals in schools. No doubt there are some parents who are abusing their children but that doesn't give us the right to abuse them more by taking away that food they get in school.

If there is any government shutdown it will be caused by both the Republican and Democrat branches of the total American Socialist Party.
I like that stupid statement by poster 1 about the right wingers in DC. What right wingers in DC? Could and would you name some right wingers in DC? I would be interested in knowing who they are. I guarantee you I know two names that will be given.
Thanks for your response if there are any responses.

Apparently you missed one of Bug's new sermons ... I'll repost .. Cause apparently you didn't get the point of it either ... I wrote it very slowly so you could follow along ok ... LOL.

Politics, religion & war ... The three topics that are of discussed the most by those that know the least. The only thing that ever could be accomplished in the end is who would be crowned as the one that has made themselves look most foolish by talking the most :-)

It is time to put the crackheads in jail and put their children in orphanages. There are no children with responsible parents going hungry in this country. No matter how much money you give to crackheads; it is never going to the children.

Actually that's been my opinion for years. I've heard it said that even bad parents are better than no parents at all but I find that hard to believe with some of today's parents. Hopefully most children have grandparents or other family members who are taking up some of the slack but I know there are some who don't have anybody.

When I was a kid we lived in a neighborhood while my dad was building our house and a family lived nearby who would every day send one of their kids to our house asking to borrow this or that. It got to the point the mother was sending for a list of stuff. I went to their house one day, which was up a holler, and was amazed to see that they had no furniture, just a few piles of clothing. I suppose there was a father in the picture but I just saw the mother and a couple of children. I don't know if we didn't have social programs back then (late 1940s) or why they had no help but that's a memory I have never forgotten. I hope we don't have children living like that now because their parents are drug addicts.

Ok the house has voted in the CR excluding ACA funding. So now the senate strips the ACA language votes and sends it back to the house were it is rejected. Then what? Does the house gop then set fire to the world economy? All this crap from the leaders of the free world so the govt can continue for 3 months.
Voting republicans be damned time for the non crazy republicans to call the crazies onto the carpet. No one is accomplishing anything except embarrassing the USA in the worlds view.

At least good old boy Billy, when he was thinking with his big head, had enough sense to realize he had to get along with Congress, and negotiated with them for tax cuts and spending cuts and the results were jobs and a smaller deficit. This turd we have now has his mind set on spending, raising taxes, and refuses to negotiate. Then he goes public and campaigns like usual, but since public polls show Americans disagree with his job performance, his message is falling on deaf ears. He has proved time and time again his weakness and failure as a leader so nothing will get done once again.

Obama's approval ratings are much, much, much higher than Congressional ratings...especially the Republicans. Obama is in a much better position than Bill Clinton was during that government shut down by the Republicans. Even most Republicans think the House rightwingers and some in the Senate (Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul) are off their rockers.

The poverty rate has increased under Obama, more people on food stamps, unemployment has never been under 7%, the NSA is violating the 4th amendment rights of American Citizens, our Ambassador to Libya is killed by terrorist with no response from the White House, National debt increased by 7 trillion, Obama is bitch slapped by Assad and Putin, the full faith and credit of the US has been reduced,The IRS is targeting American Citzens, the slowest recovery from a recession since the great depression. Obama gives guns to Mexican Drug Cartels and Libyan Terrorists, but gives Americans cell phones and tries to take their guns, but it is the Republicans who are embarrassing America - Really?
