This actrion infuriated the leaders of Log Cabin Republicans who took Rick Perry and Tony Fabrizio to task for taking their money and betraying them. In the course of the public tirade, they outed Fabrizio as a homosexual.

So what is your point? Does anyone not know that there are gay Republicans? The log cabin republicans supported Reagan, not sure I heard of them before that. Norquest marries a muslim, big deal. Looks like you are making the case that conservatives are not so narrow minded.
Are you not aware that there are lots of fisical conservatives that are socially liberal and vice versa.

Bob Barr was actually chosen to be the KeyNote Speaker at the GOP LGBT Log Cabin Republican Convention in Dallas. Imagine that! Old Bob wrote the "Defense of Marraige Act," and now he wants to repeal it. Bob Barr took the podium and apologized profusely to the LCR Convention, and promised to work very hard to repeal the DOMA.

I attended Southern Baptist churches from the age of 5 in 1950 untill George Herbert Bush ran for President the first time. The Republican Baptist Preacher made a habit of insulting Democrat members of his church about Democrat Social Liberals. I had a belly full of his insults and walked out during his so-called sermon and never went back to any church. My anger and my fight is directed at the Southern Baptist convention. The SBC owes me an apology. I go my own way, I am not your typical Democrat, nor do I classify myself as a Liberal. I am more middle of the road than anything else, with definite Independent leanings. And, I am an outraged disenfranchised Southern Baptist.

Nope, they finally got Jimmy Carter too. Jimmy Carter walked out of the Southern Baptist Church just like I did, only years later. I have met and talked to other Southern Baptist Preachers in my area. They are all Republicans first and preachers second, nuff said about that.

Are you kidding me? You are on a rampage because of one preacher in the Southern Baptist Church. There are thousands of good churches in this country that you could attend. Unfortunately there are also a lot of bad ones. My mother always offered this advice, when you go to church keep your eyes on God, not on man. Being raised in the Baptist Church, I found myself being more comfortable in a Penacostal Church. I also was hurt by the Baptist Church during the time of my mother's last year of life.
But I dont think the Baptist Church owes me an apology. Plus I dont follow your linkage between Republicans, conservatives and the Southern Baptist Church.

Dubya and Homosexual Ken Mehleman came up with an anti-gay agenda to get votes from the Christian Right. Laura Bush, who was aware that Mehleman was Gay, objected. Ken Mehleman and Dubya paid no attention to Laura.
