Police arrested a city public works employee Thursday, accusing him of using a city-issued credit card to buy $679 in home electronics gear and trying to buy a $1,200 flat-screen television.

DO WE HAVE NO CHECKS AND BALANCES IN OUR TOWN. NO MORE FRAUD. NO MORE EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE PERSONAL AGENDAS. CITY WORKERS NEED TO BE SCREENED AND EVALUATED ON A REGULAR BASIS. NOT ALL EMPLOYEES ARE BAD BUT LETS KEEP THEM IN CHECK. THEY WORK FOR US AND OUR TOWN.
