Brush fire erupts in Beaumont
The fire was first reported at 1:20 p.m. and had grown to 600 acres as of 3:50 p.m., pushed by west-blowing winds, according to the Riverside County Fire Department, which was battling the blaze along with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
