I’m putting together a story about the old Georgiana Bottling plant that existed in the 1930s and 1940s. They bottled Dr Pepper and Barqs. You may have seen my ad in the Greenville Advocate.

Do you know of anyone that may have any pictures or know anything about it?

I found a Dr. Pepper bottle in the woods near Watsons Crossing, Al. with Georgiana Bottling Co. printed on the bottom.

Billy Evers run the dr.pepper plant for a few years.He and his wife split up and she went off with the local doctor.I don't know if he is still a live or not he was the uncle to Devon Evers & Joe Evers the plant at that time was next to Bill"s horse barn.That was alot of years ago.Good luck. Was the article by Jerry on the bottling plant in Georgiana ever written? Devon Evers is my dad and he worked there when he was 17 years old. I would love to read the story.

Dixie my house in georgiana was next door to Devon & Joe Evers i grew up with them until we left town for Tuscaloosa,Al and your dad went to army airborne with my cousin Dale Newton.That was a lot of years ago.Billy was Devons Uncle.I know Devon married a lady out of NC.i say her a few times.If you need to know any thing more just comment it.
