For the last two weeks people who try to purchase a combo and get the free update of a rt44 Sonic drink with their combo get the speech of "The key on our computer for the Rt44 drink is not working, but you can get the large for 23cents more." However go to Sonics and order the drink and suddenly the key works.

Yea, if the drink is a free upgrade, should'nt the drink be already added to the combo without additional fees? And if it is about counts, well take a piece of paper and a pen and keep counts folks.

No, this is just another scam in CAMDEN, ARKANSAS.

....and they wonder why we shop and eat elsewhere instead of putting more into the Camden economy....HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMM

To be fair, the food is pretty good. But the service is better when one of the owners is there.

I have lived in Camden most of my life and have been eating at the Sonic forever it seems. Whoever the person is that is leaving these negative and false comments should be ashamed of themselves. Although, I have noticed that the drinks cost somewhat more than most sonics, but most Sonics are not as attractive and well landscaped like Camden. I do not know the owners personally but I do know enough about them to know that they are not crooks. They provide and have provided numerous jobs for our teen-agers throughout the years. If you don't like their food and drinks, you have other choices.

Totally agree.
The Sonic is one of the few places in town that appears to be CLEAN.
Always landscaped pretty and you can see in through the big window all the way around.
I have a feeling we would be sick if we could see what goes on in other fast food places.

My comments were true and fact based on service given to me in June. Never lied. Yes the landscape is nice but you digress from the subject which was false advertisement and poor service at that time. However to their defense since posting this, service is better and RT44 free upgrades are being supplied. As for the owners, I do not know them but I'm glad to see that they read this and corrected the issue.
If there had been a number on the billing ticket, I would have called them directly. I am not ashamed of posting this because it did solve the issue...AND THAT WAS ALL THAT WE AS CONSUMERS WANT, FAIRNESS EVEN IN A BURGER AND DRINK IN AMERICA.

Once again Thank you to the owners for contacting this post and taking care of this issue for your customers.

We try to ask everytime that we sell a combo if you would like the free upgrade to the 44oz drink but then again we are trying to get the orders out with quick service our customers have come to expect. The carhops told me that some of the customers have gotten mad because they didn't want the 44 drink because it wouldn't fit in their cup holder. To be sure you get the upsize please ask for it. I'm sorry I failed to make myself clear. I wasnt referring to your comment about not getting your RT44 drink. I was commenting on the other remarks that someone made about the owners....personally. But, thanks for taking a stand and getting the problem resolved. Everybody deserves a second chance. Hats off to the owners.
