Teacher Charged In Child Porn Case
A man employed as a Middle School teacher in Prince William County has been charged in a federal investigation involving child pornography and sex abuse of an underage girl from Fairfax County.

I went to Bull Run Middle School and every student that had MR. Shulick said he was the best teacher. I really wanted him and now I'm glad that i didnt because that is disgusting. He is like the third teacher there to leave because of their involvement with students. It would not suprise me if he had pictures of girls that went to Bull Run.

wow, I went to bull run last year also.
I use to always go in his class room because my teacher would kick me out of her room. He use to always joke around with me, I thought he was so cool. I can't even believe he would do something like this. I'm shocked, this is sick. |

my homeroom is right next door to mr.shulick, and he creeped me out from the start. at the begining of the year he yelled at me for having a water bottle in my locker...and he always had a creepy smile on his face, like he ALWAYS had it. even when he was yelling at someone he had a slight smirk. i knew from the start there was somthing wrong with him. he was also head of the yearbook club so he always took pictures of the classes and the students, so thats a little creepy too. i am glad he is out of my school.

I had Mr.Shulick as my eighth grade teacher. He did look like a creeper, but he was always really nice and laid back so I never made anything of it. He was a cool teacher and I just could never see him doing this.

okay,like I said the other day about the teacher in P.G., WHERE IS LORANNA BOBBITT WHEN YOU NEED HER? this is getting out of hand. How do people get to teach in our school system with this addiction? Does the system not check for priors any more? When I started working with kids I had to go through an intense background check,are we so hard up for teachers that this isn't done anymore? This is a sad commentary for our school system.

okay the nasty part about everything is that this isn't the first time a teacher at bullrun got in trouble for involvement w/ students. like last year there was a teacher Mr. Pitts who got fired for touching some 6-7th grader, and from what i know is that he did it before then too. so he was hired, fired for touching a student, then HIRED AGAIN, and then fired for the same thing. Bull Run Middle School has a reallyyyy bad reputation now. i hope they realize that.

eww. that's so disgusting. Mr. Shulick is my science teacher's(Mr. Trout) best friend. It wouldn't really surprise me if my teacher knew what was going on with Mr. Shulick but also it wouldn't be a shock if he didn't know either.
Just thinking what he did is disturbing and knowing he's one of the teachers at MY school makes me think... What if there are OTHER teachers in the school just like him? Not very good reputation at a school. Let alone a MIDDLE school. |

I realize this whole situation is a tragedy and very upsetting.I hope though that parents and students realize that not all teachers are doing things like this or even capable of doing this kind of evil.My spouse is a teacher at Bull Run and is very upset about this situation.He feels that everyone know will associate him with this pervert teacher and he will be typed as such by the "guilty by association" type thinking that many people have.Just because one teacher does something wrong,doesn't mean they are all like this.My spouse is a very good teacher and would never,ever do something so revolting.I realize we must be careful,but at the same time not clump everyone who works at that school in with this pervert.

My daughter is a student at Bull Run and had him as Science teacher. I've very sick about this. You send your children to school to get an education not to have to deal with stuff like this. Even though it's not up to me but he should never see the light of day again.

I was in 8th grade a couple of years ago and he gave me a referall, thats the only time I came in contact with him. He always had a stupid smirk on his face and I just wanted to hit him in the face. im glad he in jail i didn't like him anyway.
