What a rude club. I for one will not go back when my wife did not buy a 50/50 ticket from a lady in that club she walked off and mumbled we are cheap. No way to treat people sorry.

X`s 2 The wife & i took a ride down with another couple we know. We did not have a good time at all We felt like outsiders and like we drove into a club meeting not a cruise night not 1 club person came over to the two cars we had. Only people who talked to us was a worker on her way home and people who walked over from the gameroom. We did go to a cruise night in Tuckerton that made us feel at home . This was at Stewarts on rt 9. I think the banner up said the club was Wicked Rides , great people and a great time they had a man doing Elvis this night. When we pulled in a man who introduced himself as the club pres. welcomed us in and showed us where to park. All the people at this cruise night were very nice. We will go with our cars to more events done by this Wicked Rides club.

Calloway's restaurant great place to eat and great if you have a young family. We came up from Mays Landing for a cruise night. Place was nice the Bugs were nuts on this one night. I do think Calloway's restaurant should run the cruise or get another club to run it. The Rolling Memories Car Club was also not very friendly except to ask for our money for a 50/50 that one of their club members won. Oh there was a old man and a bald guy in a 41 Chevy that did talk to us about our car and we talked about his. But no clue if he was in that club or not.

I am a weekender i have been since 1962 i went to Rolling Memories car show this year at the Seaport because i went to their show there back in 2003 at the Seaport oh boy what a big change. I don`t know if this club changed hands over the years but this years show was no way as good as it was in 2003. People running it we not so nice i will leave it at that. After that i been to the Calloway's cruise 2 time onces with my 1940`s car people talked to me not very friendly but they did come over say hi and hand me flyers. Next time i went to this cruise i pulled in with my 1986 Grand Prix 2 x 2 this is a very low mile car 6,243.6 and not many were made. Not one flyer was given to me not one club member walked over to me i was a outsider and did not feel right there i stood 1 hour then went on my way to the beach house. As for the other club talked about i have never to a show or cruise they held but i should look them up by what people are saying here. do you think they will mind my Grand Prix?

I am a member of the Rolling Memories club. But I do have to say that all are right in what they say. I pay my dues and am a member in good standings i think, well up untill i make this post. The club is a one way club members really have no say, the club is run by two people even thou it has a board an a vp the pres and his wife rule . I no longer go to meeting since only 5 of the 10 familys show up for the meetings. I joined with the understanding that this was a good large friendly club , but i was worng.

mingle we tried that 4 other couples and us at that last cruise they held. i think only 8 people chatted with us and none were from the club running it except for the lady looking for money that half goes into the clubs pockets some 50 / 50 the other 50 the club makes should get donated .

I agree with roadster, no matter what club you belong to or where you go you have to make the effort and go out there and mingle and as far as Stewarts in Tuckerton I have gone there with my car and I was not impressed with the food or the club...

LOL cargirl08 you don`t even know what your typing.. i could care less where you go i have yet to be at Stewarts with my car but have been there on a cruise night and all were nice to us.Also in my post i said nothing of Stewarts so i no clue why you threw that in the mix. We just said how we feel an as we see it most feel that way too. how you can say people at Stewarts were not nice it is strange to hear that even the owner of the place walked around talking to people. Oh was it that you got nothing for free there.
