It's about the Boarder. Until the American people make the politicians fix illegal immigration, this will be more common in MN & WI. Do we want to live in a place like California? It's on it's way.

they are here for the jobs. If you don't want them here, don't hire them and don't do business with the companies who do. the mexican criminal element are here to sell drugs. If you don't want them here, don't buy the drugs or hang out with anybody who does buy or use them. It's all about the money - vote with your pocketbook. take away their subsidized lifestyle-free health care, good wages, high drug profits and you'll see alot less of them. They might even have to hire some white college kids to wait tables in their taco joints!

Perhaps I missed it, but where does it mention illegal immigrant? It may turn out to be true, but the article only states the victim is from California. A big leap equating a name of Mexican origin to "illegal" alien.

It should also be pointed out it is the "American people" who employ illegal immigrants. The laws are in place, they just are overlooked by employers needing cheap labor or filling a gap in a job market Americans do not want to fill. With the exception of senior citizens and high school youth, how many "white" Americans do you see competing to work at minimum wage jobs such as McDonalds?

Illegal immigration is a problem, but understanding why they come is part of the solution. They come for the work. Until employers refuse to hire aliens or Americans fill the void in undesirable positions, the problem will persist.

I'm going to bypass the political and illegal immigration aspects and get right to the point: A drug deal gone bad!! And it's not just happening in MN, it's nationwide. It's a well-known fact that a huge amount of drug traffic comes out of Mexico, but it's the law of supply and demand in the U.S. that enables that operation to continue. I admit that I don't know what the solution might be. I can only hope that generations after me can work that out before this world becomes a real-life "Stephen King novel"!
