Governor Henry To Survey Tornado Damage

He should have just stayed home and sent the money it is costing to get him here. He is just in the way for people trying to help.

Sure, he's going to go to the president and say, well, I haven't seen it myself, but I hear it's pretty bad and these people need help. I'm not a fan of Governor Henry, but come on now. My heart goes out to these people. It could be any of us that Mother Nature took out her fury on but she chose these communities. They need all the help they can get.

1 "Aboard Air Force One, Bush contacted Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue and Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt and spoke with Henry after arriving at the White House. Bush did not specify what support the federal government would provide." Do you notice something here? No mention of your state! Why? Because your governor is a Democrat. Shame on Bush. Here he goes again, just like after Hurricane Katrina and the tornados in Kansas. This is not time for party politics. We are ALL AMERICANS. |

Did you think that maybe he didn't call from Airforce One because they got back to the Whitehouse before he made his call?? And that since the article mentioned that the storms had hit in these three locations that most people reading the article would get that Henry was from Oklahoma?? And did you ever think that maybe you are being petty?? And that maybe just maybe it has nothing to do with being a Democrate and a Republican?? |
Last I knew Kansas is a predominant republican state also. Still sore about Gore the Global Idiot. |
AMEN |
Very UNWISE & spiteful comments; The President has more things to do than look in on Oklahoma everytime the wind blows. Thats why he has staff. BTW: Senator Inhofe beat our "governor" there; notice you failed to notice or mention that, miss partisan. Shame on YOU! Gore lost - GET OVER IT! Gore is WRONG!!!!! The climate(s) go in cycles - just read your history!!!!!!!!!! |
Couldn't have said it much better myself. Her comments did seem rather spiteful & partisan. Bet she votes for NObama. |

Did you pay any attention to what you were reading, if you read the article at all? The following was a few paragraphs above the one you quoted....
It's just horrific. It's devastating to all of us," said Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry, who declared a state of emergency in Ottawa County. "It appears the search and rescue part of the mission is over and now we're in the cleanup phase." The article had already identified Governor Henry. Since politics has nothing to do with the tragic story anyway, this just shows your foolishness. To the people affected by this terrible tragedy, the prayers of people all around the world are with you. God bless you all. |
Can't you read? "FEMA Ready To Assist In Wake Of Tornadoes" That story was above this one on this site!! I guess she reads what she wants; only things that will reinforce HER beliefs. |
Poor Beth....she doesn't even realize she is complaining about the words of a reporter and blaming President Bush for them. Shows the level of intelligence we're dealing with, doesn't it? |
Minus 12 IQ for sure. |
Inhofe beat Henry to the disaster site? Of course he did, he doesn't have anything else better to do with his time since most in D.C. whether democrat or republican think he is a joke.
I miss Don Nickles. He was a damn good representative of Oklahoma AND well respected. |

This one's a minus 32 IQ |
WAAAAHHHHHH! |
Givin' them a LITTLE too much credit their, my friend! Nickles/Inhofe: BOTH: 100% pro-life; pro-defense; pro-Oklahoma; anti-Gore; pro-2nd Amendment; pro-originalist justices to the Supreme Court; anti-globalism. Difference? Not much. |

actual boren beat everbody(i was there) and im a republican
ok what does being a democrat or a republican have to do with the price of tea in China HMM? Gov henry went to the devastation and brought help does every Tulsan forget the Major ice storm that blacked out most of oklahoma and Gov Henry helped out his state then So i say TY GOVERNER keep up the great work and to all the people of this recent tragedy your in my prayers

did any of you idiots stop to think that just MAYBE Jim Inhofe beat Brad Henry to Picher because Inhofe lives in Tulsa and Henry lives in OKC?
I agree 100%... when 90% of Tulsa and surrounding area was without power last december I didn't see any Tulsa residents complaining about Brad Henry being here....now that it's a small town people are whining and complaining. SHOW SOME HUMAN COMPASSION YOU BUNCH OF JACKASSES! |
