it sucks! SORRIEST TREATMENT AROUND! DONT WASTE YOUR BREATH COMPLAINING TO DALE SPELL !!! the er is nothing more than a joke!!!

The ER in Baxley is staffed by a group of well trained professionals who work hard to provide quality service to the patients who require their services. It is an EMERGENCY Room,not a Dr.'s office like some people believe. I have found the staff to be a wonderful group of folks who do their best to provide professional services in a personal manner.

Frog gigger, I am assuming that you mean that Mr. Spell PAWNS his work on someone else?

Yes, Appling HealthCare's ER is small, and it probably (certainly) isn't the best emergency department in the region, but I do know that when I totalled my motorcycle a few years ago, they treated me very well. I only spent an hour or so in the ER before I was transferred to another facility for my surgery, but while I was there, they did a great job of tending to my injuries, to the best of their abilities, and making sure that I was comfortable.

Also, I have to agree with Appling Honor, the ER is exactly that an EMERGENCY room, it is not, nor should it be treated as anything more than that.

nobody/gigger, are you sure that you do not have a personal problem with Mr. Spell that should be handled in a more private manner?

I stand by my earlier post. I do not however work there. I have used the facility on occasion. If in fact you have a problem with Mr. Spell,let the issue be with him not people who do their job.

well mr sanutti,to start with YES he pawns his work on other people!! how your situation was handled is not in the present time! btw, who is "nobody?? and last but not least yes i have issues with dale spell just like other appling county citizens do. he doesn't walk his talk... never has........i worked for the hospital system for 22 years....he is yet to impress me..........

Time for me to bow out here. I stated my opinion as have you. If you are looking for an argument, look some where else.I do believe that the staff of the E. R. is a group of well trained professionals. If your fight is with Dale Spell then take it to Dale Spell.

I was referring to "nobody needs 2know, Blackshear, GA".

It really doesn't concern me that you have a problem with Mr. Spell, my only problem with it is, you bring it to a public forum and "call him out" without stating your name. If you want to talk about someone, all I ask is that you state your name so others can air their opinions about you.

I agree I do have a smart attitude, I've been told that on here on several occasions. Aren't you glad that you don't have to put up with me all the time. Anyone that REALLY knows me, knows that it is just a facade, I am one of the nicer guys that you will meet. The reason that my posts on here are so condescending is because, as I stated earlier, people log on with pseudonyms and drag others through the mud without opening their own closets. Please if you have issues with Dale< Don't blame the rest of the hospital. There are some of the most qualified nurses in the state working at our hospital, most of them with multiple degrees and they choose to stay here because it is HOME and they really care! Please remember the nurses can only do so much.

God forbid you get sick or hurt and end up in the Er during changing of the shifts, you will sit in the waiting area until you give up and leave or pass out. sit in the baxley er for hours sick and couldn't hardly breath, finally had to go to another hospital where i was seen quickly , all because i showed up during the 7pm changing of the guards.
