Attended the debate in Charlotte on Wednesday evening ... a little disappointed that Mr. Walberg couldn't admit that yes, social security IS a Ponzi scheme (the event was sponsored by AARP so I guess we should expect that) and he also declined to answer the question regarding the bailout of the automakers and if he would've supported it (I'm guessing not--but he can't say that here in GM Town). Then again, saying what they really think never got a politician elected.

A YES vote on Health-care reform is mandatory to get my vote for office. If you know anything about the topic NOT fed to you by 'Faux' """News ??""", then you know the American people are getting ripped off on health-care. Who is ripping us off? The same people paying for NO votes (and all they LIARS Club advertisements) on the reform bill.
ALL advanced nations other than the US have Universal Health-care. ALL pay much less, typically less than HALF what we pay for crappy care. The average bill is 9% of GDP. We pay over 17%. For example, Japan pays 8% of their GDP for care. The average Japanese citizen utilizes 3 times the quantity of health-care (Doc visits, Lab Tests, Meds etc.)as the average US citizen. They live a full decade longer. Their system is, of course, NON-Profit.
Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Australia, Ireland, The Netherlands,France, Germany,... and many more, ALL have universal care, they ALL pay less, and they ALL live longer.
Te only people who DON'T want this system are those getting rich ripping us off, and the idiots that actually believe "Faux News??"

Ya gotta remember why the country is where it is at today. 8 Years of republican rule put us here! Two years of the dems , in power has not been as effective as it should. Granted the Dems inherited the worse downturn in the history of this country since the great depression. But the republicans are truely the party of NO. Just No! I think the Dems need time to get their programs to work if anything throw out the people who follow party lines and do not vote what their people who they represent want! It would be a waste of time and money if we did not give the programs to work. If we went back to the republicans we are back to where we were two years ago. Bailing out wall street! We need to get more jobs in Michigan not export them to CHINA!!! I personally do not want more taxes. I think with so many people out of work we NEED National health care! With the conservatives if you do not have a job they think you are lazy! That is not true! If you are working in Michigan you are lucky! If you are not working it is because of the economy. People need education to learn new skills! We need incentives to stimulate good paying jobs to come to Michigan! and Not just minimun wage jobs. People need to be self sufficent. Vote for whom you want but please vote do not let a few dictate how you will live in the future!!! PEACE!
