what's wrong with you people? there are just as many white scum as black or any other race. there is no place in this country for prejudism! Anyone that is prejudice is no better than the "scum" they talk about! You are very sick!

Just goes to show why we, as a society, encourage the consumption of alcohol! See what happens when two drunks disagree and they're all liquored up and the bar is closing?
You don't EVER hear of people stabbing each other because they've been smoking cigarettes -- but you hear a LOT about people stabbing/shooting each other after they're good and tanked up.
Let's keep promoting alcohol -- in commercials, in community events, in any type of celebration.
Hit the booze ... but bring a knife. Or a gun! Because after you're so loaded you can't think straight and have "a real bad attitude" going on, you'll feel like maybe killing somebody.
NOBODY smokes a cigarette and behaves like that -- but that's why we've banned smoking and encourage people to drink up.
Makes a lot of sense.

Notice that both posters have the same KY ISP location. They're the same person. There are prejudiced people in all races, but not as many as you think.

i'm really confused about what your trying to say...what does smoking cigarettes have to do with 2 people getting stabbed right by state st. and a gun shot was fired?

when did smoking get banned anyway? you can smoke almost anywhere except for most indoor public places. you can't drink anywhere you want either. what is your point?

i think where this occurred is kind of scary...a lot of people are walking in that area on a friday night at that time...i guess you can't really walk anywhere late in erie anymore without worrying about something like this happening.

Obama supporters are just so peaceful, aren't they? I can just sense the liberal compassion and tolerance when the stab the excrement out of each other. Can't we all just get along? Anyone remember who said that?

I'm saying that nobody gets murdered because someone is smoking ... but as we've seen, people DO get murdered because somebody is drinking.
Everybody gets up in arms about others smoking around them ... but nobody seems to mind the guy sitting next to them, getting blotto and belligerent, with a knife or a gun in his pocket.
We glamorize and encourage drinking ... but ban people from smoking in bars, which doesn't lead to stabbings, shootings and deaths.

It was Rodney King. The whole Rodney King fiasco will never escape my memory. Just another example of what happens when the media throws gasoline on a fire instead of putting it out.

Oh, I don't think she'll be disappointed ... not for a minute.
It'll give her LOTS of fodder to make you look silly ... which is about the only thing you're good for: the butt of jokes, and liberal amusement.

What do Obama supporters have to do with this incident? Do you know the people involved? Do you know if they were Obama supporters? Maybe they were McCain supporters, and stabbed themselves.

BECKY - I SMOKE and DRINK and I haven't stabbed, shot or mamed anyone yet. Obviously you have a major drinking problem and turned to smoking more cigarettes!!! It is usually those people who have quit a habit that are the toughest, loudest and most rude!!!! Trust me, not everyone that embibes, has to commit a crime - Sunday's would be full of intoxicated, ticked off football fans(Brownies)who just walk the streets and kill off those other ticked off fans (Sqeelers)!!!
Relax and have a smoke or two!!!!

Nay Nay got it right. A couple Young Repervs without the guts to go the Full Immolation route mail in a cutting. That's not good enough for this news cycle. Where did they take their PoliSci?

C'mon girls! Take it up a notch.

I don't have a drinking problem -- used to drink socically one in a while, but don't drink at all anymore. Know SEVERAL people, though, who are either alcoholics or whose lives have been damaged by alcohol. Of course, the major beer companies lobby HARD to make drinking attractive -- so kids think it's "cool" to drink and start down the road to alcoholism before they're even out of high school.
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about -- those intoxicated, ticked-off people. We have more of a problem with drinking in this country (alcoholism, drinking and driving, crimes committed when people are under the influence of drugs and alcohol -- look at Erin Howard)... but we ENCOURAGE people to drink. It ain't a party if you ain't drunk ... and if it weren't for the big bucks these beer and liquor companies pay to keep the drinks flowing in this country, maybe we wouldn't be burying people left and right because somebody chose to drink irresponsibly --and MOST people who're sloshed are NOT responsible, at that point.
Name me ONE plus that comes from people drinking. I can't think of any. It doesn't enhance anyone's life, better anybody's circumstances, create better relationships, help anyone get ahead -- none of those things.
People don't kill people because they're smoking. They don't drive erratically because they're smoking. They don't ruin lives because they're smoking. They don't cause fatal car accidents because they're smoking.
Yet everyone wants to ban smoking ... but let the drunks keep on drinking and wreaking havoc.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Capricorn

You're swayed by your emotions today, making you susceptible to other people's machinations. Are you putty in the hands of your beloved? Are you willing to do whatever, just to keep the peace? Watch out for the influence of another's black mood, or you'll soon start to feel just as miserable. Fortunately this strange mood won't last long.
