Berkeley-you gonna do a one-month followup story (complete with pictures and an interview with the stolen-library-book lady), just to touch our hearts once more?

Please don't.

Will Ch.10 and Ball-less Brean help city people find their lost ugly Black Dogs?
Or does he only find Cute White Dogs from the Burbs and 315 that have monetary reward money offered?

Now the 'helter' workers should arrest the people responsible for leaving a dog in a running car alone.

Some of us love our pets enough not to leave them unattended in a running car.

Disappointed...did you forget the reason WHY they left Benji in the running car instead of shutting off the car?

In case you did, its because they loved him enough that they didnt want him to bake to death in a stifling hot car when the temps reached 100 degrees in North Carolina.

We have had to do the same thing ourselves, only when we travel we make sure to bring 2 sets of keys so we can lock the car while its running AND we also get a seat where we can see our vehicle. Sometimes traveling, you just need to eat a sit down meal and stretch the legs out...and depending what roads you're traveling on and the time of day, rest areas arent always such a great option..if they even are an option. Some rest areas have no facilities of any kind or only have vending machines...not all states have nice built up rest areas like NY does.
I am glad they got their Benji back..Id be devastated if my pet got lost.

I too am glad the pooch is alright, but we all can see the outcome of their poor choice. It was foolish and your rationalization of their behavior does not make it right. The fact you do the same thing is ridiculous. Want to stretch your legs? Get takeout and go to a park - the dog will like that better. No park? Many fast food restaurants have picnic tables outside. If that is not a good solution for you, board the dog or leave it with a friend. The dog should not be left in the car, running or not, A/C or not. And the keys should not be left in the car - common sense should tell us that.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Aquarius

You're eager to have a good time, and nothing less will do; you'll soon put your work to one side and start to enjoy yourself instead. If you're going to a social event that you've been looking forward to for ages, try to keep a firm grip on your expectations in case reality falls far short of them. Be especially realistic if you've got high hopes of love and romance.
