It's a sad and scarey time we live in when kids think that the publicity of school shootings is worthy of copying. Today when I went to work at our local school I learned we were on lock down, not that there was a threat, but to avoid the possibility. Some of the kids, you know to question the possibility of violence, yet they roam freely without question. This should be something we can take for granted but at what possible cost ? Discipline is a thing of the past, consequenses do not exist in today's schools, and yet we wonder why kids do this ! In my opinion, the time to stop this kind of stuff is at an early age, there are positives to having rules and consequences.
