Boy's killing puts Salinas at 23 in '09

Juan Carlos Ledesma, 19, and Juan Maciel, 20, under-100 block of Center Street

With one more person shot and wounded

Andres Alcala Jr., 28, and Adrian Varela, 26
Tulip Circle

There was another one on Williams road about four years ago where the shooter shoot over a fence and killed three males who had shot at him earlier in the week.
At that shooting I believe two others were shot and wounded.

Why don't we play like the big boys and plant some undercover Baby Bangers? That would give us some intelligence that we need about who did what and who is going to do what.....Lets get serious. Yes it would be risky for the undercover. Some people look very young even though they are adults. We would never expect a child to do this type of work.

Unfortunately for their family members, they do have to worry about their deaths. Actually, exactly at this moment they are grieving their loss, a mother is crying uncontrollably. Since she had to make the choice of taking her 14 year old son off life-support because doctors gave her no hope of him making it through. I'm pretty sure it is a big deal to them.

Honestly, it might not matter to you, but pay some respect to those family members who are going through the pain of their loss.

Its 24 now. A 14 year old just died in this shooting today.

Salinas makes compton look like disnyland.

I believe Salinas is one of numerous cities in California that that designate their municipality as a " Sanctuary city" You wonder why people in that town are not in uproar over the violence that plagues Salinas. I would venture an educated guess that half of the population that resides there have questionable legal immigration status...

The show could feature exciting episodes of local gang bangers showing off their skills and expertise on how to go "Beyond Stupid" just to prove to their peers that they really are, very, very stupid!

And besides that, the teenage wannabe gang bangers have to "prove", to the elder gang bangers, that without question, they are truly "Beyond Stupid" in order to earn their "elders" respect!

I appreciate your thoughts. Hopefully other Mexican Mothers will read these, not so nice-tough love comments, and pay close attention to what their children are doing. This could have been avoided if she got serious with her son. Letting him stay home from school and not following up on the teacher who made the derogatory comments is typical for a mother with too many kids feeding off our welfare system. I would hate to see how much money our system has paid that family. It's time for "Tough-Love" and saving your child's life. Salinas is not a good place to raise children. If we can wake-up a couple of Mexican parents, we can start to crush the Baby Bangers.

No amount of tax money could have changed what happened and it's shameful for Salinas Mayor Dennis Donahue to use these deaths to extract more money from taxpayers. Will Donahue's quest for blood money ever cease?

Actually a lot of that white trash ia not home grown. A lot of it comes from the south, the east and middle america.
