I hope this man can get the laws changed so people who actually have the expertise and consideration for the patients can provide the best product possible. I have been in the denture lab business for 25 years and I can honestly say that 90% of the dentists I work for don't know what the f**k the are doing because the don't get the proper training in dental school and only care about the money.About 10% care but simply do not spend enough time on their patients to do a proper job, especially for what they charge.I am currently in the process of changing my occupation because I am fed up with dumb ass dentists with no common sense or understanding of the mechanics of dentures . Good luck in changing the laws.

I am a licensed denturist practicing in Oregon. We commonly run into issues with insurance companies (supported by the ADA) not willing to cover the cost of dentures made by a denturist. They will, however, cover the cost of dentures made by a dentist--at nearly twice the price charged by a denturist. Many patients who, from experience, prefer the work done by denturists over dentists, become very upset when their insurance company won't cover who they choose to seek care from...this seems like restriction of trade, and is unfair in a state where denturists practice legally.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Gemini

You're in a very erratic mood today, making you restless, edgy and nervy. It may be almost impossible to settle to anything for long, because, as Mercury slows, you soon lose interest. If life becomes boring you'll want to liven it up in some way and it's likely you'll choose the most disruptive and controversial option you can think of, even though you know this will cause trouble.
