Who do you support for the Sheriff race in Kane?

Voted For Pat Perez

Pat has lived up to every campaign promise and more in the last 4 years. Other then thinking this might be a bad year for democrats, I can't imagine why anyone would run against Pat Perez

In 2004 Perez ran for Kane County Sheriff as a Republican in the GOP primary and won it no doubt due to a lot of crossover help from Hispanics in the Democratic Party. Another Hispanic running for the same office in the Democratic Party was unopposed. Perez's victory in the GOP primary ensured that a Hispanic would win the Kane County Sheriff race one way or another. Of course, since this is a Republican dominated county, Perez won the general election. Apparently sometime after he took office he switched parties and is running as a Democrat this time where his loyalities probably were all along. I think what he did was dishonest.
