What happened to the Mullendore Murder Case

What happened to the discussion on the Mullendore murder case? It was on Talk Around Bartlesville Topix , yesterday Aug. 13th.

That may be true but does it mean Chub did not pull the trigger? No one should get away with murder. I hope you have read my other comments on this web site. If Chub did not do it he knows who did! This crime needs to be solved and soon.

That may be so. The problem is that case needs to be solved while Chub is alive. You KNOW he has important information. I have a hard time dealing with a crime of such magnitude still on the books in Oklahoma. I know the Mullendor's are a rich family but it is not like they are up there with Warren Buffet!!! Sounds like politics to me! I think the case needs to be reopened.

Chub didn't kill anyone he was caught in the middle. When your caught between the mafia and the rich folks, you don't have much of a choice. I've heard the REAL story from Chub more than once.

Are you telling me , Chub knows the REAL story,if so why the big secret. Share! I was told that for $100.00 I could talk to him in person too. Now that is the God's truth.

P.S. to boomer sooner. I wanted to talk to Chub but I thought it would be naive of me to think he would tell the true story to a stranger. Do you know the person who will take someone to meet Chub in person for the amount I quoted previously?
I have heard Chub is a good ole boy from several people. Maybe even charming. Question, does he feel power in knowing he knows the truth? Cold Case Files have been approched to investigate the story and as of yet, have not. Bill Kurtis has always had an interest in the Mullendore Murder Case. Seems like mafia and powerful family would NOT be a threat to Chub after all these years.

Yes Boomer Sooner, Answer the question for the lady. We all have waited since Sept. 26, 1970. Please tell everyone, and do not forget Rudy Briggs and retired sheriff George Waymon, what really happened. This family needs closure as does the state of Oklahoma!

When are we going to hear from Boomer Sooner? Boomer, does Chub now prefer to not have conversations pertaining to the night of the crime? I get a feeling he enjoys that connection in some way, knowing he was part of something important. The right thing to do is simply tell the truth. Guess that would be to much to ask. Does he realize how much that would mean to the Mullendore family? Those children had to grow up with this hanging over their heads for a life time. Please find it in your heart to help in anyway you can. Boomer would you pass this message to Chub and let him decide?

My husband is a friend of Clint's. Would be nice to know what happened.

It would be more than nice to know what happened. The injustice of not knowing is a shame. Can you imagine your husband, father, any loved one, being murdered and not one person has to pay for the crime. After all these years someone is walking around while E.C. had has life taken away.
I am afraid because of the condition of Chub's health, time is of the essence. I still think he knows what happened.
Strnage now that Mrs. Mullendore IV has spoken out, this web site basically went silent.
There are still some avenues to be researched on this case. Let's try and get it solved.

I think you are correct. Remember there was a bone fragment on Chub's hat about the size of his wound that was lost at the sheriff's office. Also the body was embalmed to early and DNA was lost . As for testing DNA they did not have the technology we have today, reguardless, I think E.C. and Chub were the only two there that night.
To bad so many mistakes were made that fateful night,other wise this thing would be solved. It is still not to late. Some records that are sealed need to be opened.

I would like to clarify my remarks reguarding the hat mentioned above. The bone fragment was on Chubs hat, a diamond shape-about the same shape and size as a small piece of bone missing from E.C.'s head. That would have established that Chub was with E.C. when he suffered his fatal wound,rather than having come upon E.C. afterward as Chub told everyone at the hospital. Before Rudy Briggs could take that hat to the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation crime lab for analysis, the bone was missing. Probably someone ,not knowing this evidence was on the hat, picked it up losing a key part of evidence. The sheriff's department made some mistakes but they also did a lot of things right. It was the interfering of others that added to evidence being lost.

I must say, I thought I would have a comment from someone by now. I am doing everything I can to get this case looked at again. I have left messages with a friend of law enfocement, Sen. Jonathan Nichols of Oklahoma. I have tried to contact the Governor of Oklahoma.
Everytime I read what Chub told on the stand, it seems to be full of more holes than Swiss cheese! Someone join me and do not let this case remain unsolved. I feel sure Chub knows what happened,,WHY won't he help solve this?

Some boys from Kansas City were hired to do the hit. Chud was in on it.

Why were there no footprints except for Chub and Dale Kuhrt's? After all these years, those boys from Kansas City , are they still a threat to Chub? I think it would have been easy for Chub to have done it without anyone's help. The easy part was, the list of suspects was a long one. There are many stories out there, but only one is true.

Good Grief! Hired hit men would not leave anyone alive who could tell a story, not even Chub. So goes that theory.
