Anyone know what happened to the camp that was located in Glen Spey from the 1920's through the 1960's?

I went to Camp Mohaph from 1960-1964. Its last year of operation was 1965. I heard it had been sold afterwards but have no idea what the land is being used for at this time. |

I went to Mohaph in 1958 and 1959. The camp was sold in 1965 and renamed Camp Ramah, Then, apparently, it was sold again and named Camp-o-Rific. That camp closed in the early 1970's. The camp then lay abandoned and there was a fire in the mess hall in 1976. According to an article about the history of the Lumberland Fire Dept., which was the fire department for Glen Spey, and close to the camp, the town asked the fire department to burn the remaining buildings since the buildings had been badly vandalized. I heard that the grounds are camping grounds now. I could verify that with a call to the Glen Spey town hall.

I went to Camp Ramah in 1967 & 1968, it was a great camp, with a lake and nice grounds. Too bad it is all gone now. Does anyone have photos?
