I would have to disagree. I grew up in that area it is a bad place. The quality of teaching is poor from the school district, its not even the children that are as bad as the adults, and everyone up there is got their noise so far in everyone's business its unbelievable how involved people become in your life.

Rice lake has an amazing support system if you ditch your family, dont pay child support, kill someone, molest children or get declared an unfit parent. Be on drugs and drink non stop and you have a job anywhere, are welcome with open arms. Great place to live if you are that kind of a person. Try to get away from that stuff and dont get caught out after dark.
