Republicans can't be counted on to reign in spending. Libertarians can. It's that simple.

very good point.
Of course we want government in our lives only when we want them. When people talk about smaller government it's not like they want to start with basic services. They want to know their tax money is spent wisely and not being wasted. They want to know that government is doing what it's best at and letting the private sector do what it's best at.

Libertarians recognize that wars are costly and wasteful, especially in terms of the lives lost and damaged. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans seem to be in any hurry to get us out of the two (!) we're in. Why should government employees have gold-plated retirement plans when private citizens have to fund their own retirement...let new government hires get 401Ks like the rest of us. There's so much fat to cut the Libertarians could work on that for decades before getting close to any meat.

I am sure he is and I am sure he is a good guy, but I think a vote for him would be a vote to help Miller, who would be an Obama/Pelosie lacky.

Eddie McCain is an everyday person like me. He wants the government to get out of our personal business and let us take care of ourselves. McCain is also the most honest person I've seen run.

Had Joe or Rob had an ounce of dignity They would have let Eddie McCain debate with them. How can anyone make a honest choice without hearing all the candidates debate?
They were afraid! They know deep down that Eddie is the better candidate!

which is why we gotta get Eddie in there if we had more like Eddie out there running This country would get back to what it once was. Eddie may not win but I will say this the guy has ran the most honest campaign of all which is why I think he would be great in office . but Win or lose he will get my vote and I guess the rest will be write ins lol Especially when it comes to Gov . lol Like the presidential race your options are slim and none just pull the handle and hope ya come up 7's.

Eddie McCain via Brown Bailout: Eddie McCain For Congress: This here is a big reason why I decided to run for congress. United Parcel Service wants tax payers to bail them out of financial trouble. Based on his historical voting record, our current congressman would vote yes. I, if given the chance, will vote no. Government bail outs are anti free enterprise. Just ask, how fair would this be to Federal Express, UPS competitor?

Eddie McCain For Congress: If there was ever a time to vote principle over political party, it is now. Please do not vote straight ticket, continuing us in the same current globalist, un-american direction. Vote for the individual candidate. We have to reverse TARP, CAFTA and all of the other horrible trade legislation that has been the death blow to 'MADE IN THE USA'.

Eddie McCain is my choice. He is touch with the people and I believe that he will truly represent us to Washington - and will not be representing Washington to us.

Cleaning house would be nice, but it'll take some time... Rob's a rubber stamp and Wilson's stigmatized for back-talking the prez... Nobody knows who Edwardo is so it doesn't really matter what he stands for!!! These people drive me knutz!!! I think everybody should have equal funding for campaigns, thereafter it would be up to the people to volunteer for canvasing, etc. I am definitely not a fan of taxes but certain appropriations being equally distributed to campaigns would help our system fight the lobby powers and ex-exec armchairs.

Mr. Eddie McCain was and still continues to be the best man for the American people. Mr. McCain is one of the last few people in this big world that I completely trust, a man of integrity on and off any workplace job. To not allow Mr. McCain the opportunity to represent the great people of South Carolina is a total error in judgement. I have personally know Mr. McCain since 2003 when Mr. McCain completed my entry paperwork to the US Army. I was the only recruit in training who had received a call from their recruiter, Mr. Eddie McCain, to see how I was doing. Mr. McCain is a honorable person and will continue to be, regardless of who is signing his paychecks. Thank you Mr. McCain for all you have done and continue to do for others. Misty
