you said that the tower bullet came from the other side of the highway. not speaking for arnold range ive never been there, but i am a member at the belleville shooting range in illinois. not only do they constantly moniter the range, the building has been specially retrofitted to handle gun fire. these arent toys, establisment operaters number one concern is safty.

Ted wrote: Mike, don't you know that at a gun range they use magic bullets that can only go as far as their target is set up. Instead of trying to diss credit the ARPC with ficticious claims of projectiles entering your homes structures, you should be thanking and praising the club far all of it's generous deeds to Missouri residents,YOU should be ashamed of yourself,But wait a minute people like you never are....THE ARPC IS A TRUE SAINT TO THE STATE OF MISSOURI !!!!!

bully wrote: <quoted text> so they proved the bullet didnt come from the range it came from some where else? YES ,shooting at a water tower is a Home Land Security issue ,and the projectiles (more than 1 ) that entered the water tower where proven to be fired from across Interstate 55 Who ever fired these shots didn't realize that there is trajectery lazer equipment available to pin point the location of a fired round.... Thats why they where never able to harm the club with their lies.....

Capital letters = YELLING!!! By the way, those bullets most likely came from some loon in the woods. One HUGE problem with or society is premature attribution without sufficient evidence. Quit relying on the news and rely on EVIDENCE. In the event that the bullets are coming from the range, those residents should be forced out of their homes by the city for being idiots, for their own safety of course...we've got to be civilized. Accordingly, all of the IDIOTS that purchased homes a few years ago without secure jobs and secure interest rates should be forced out of their homes.

Excellent reputation. NO matter what MR.Rodermund and his Crony's claim Their problem with the club is NOISE ,Which they were aware of all too well before they moved in. The truth of the matter is Rodermund and his Crony's should be under Investigation for the water tower shooting That is if they are not already.... I wonder how many Missouri residents are aware that the A.R.P.C. donates time to multiple Police agencies through out Missouri in order to Train and better protect Missouri Families..... Thank You A.R.P.C. Duke, You really are an idiot, so lets say an innocent homeowner is hit and the bullet came from the range it's the homeowners fault for being outside? It's obvious the homeowners don't want their homes to be shot up (seems like a reasonable request don't you think douche I mean Duke) By the way I am an avid hunter and practice safe shooting always.

Not to restart this terrible string of posts, but I just wanted to let all know that I found a bullet in my deck about 2 or so years ago. I don't know exactly when it first penatrated but I did call the police and let them know. I don't live anywhere near the other people who claim to have found bullets, at least I don't think I do. I live at the bottom of the hill. I attended the meeting the Gun Club had. I am concerned. I have lived here for almost 4 years and when I had my house built, I was aware of the Club. I knew I would hear gunfire. I understood that I would hear it. I accepted that. I really don't even hear it anymore unless I am paying attention. I don't know that much about guns or bullets or trajectory or whatever. My husband hunts and owns guns. I never paid it any mind. In my life, whether or not someone chooses to own a gun or absolutely abhors the idea of owning one doesn't concern me. Do what you want. As long as I am not affected in a detrimental way. The people at the Gun Club were very nice and accomodating and concerned too. I appreciated that. They did not believe the bullets came from their site. I don't know where they came from. I didn't go down there to accuse them, but if one finds a bullet, the most natural place to start looking for where it came from is where there is a concentration of gun use. My fear is that nobody will hear us because it is assumed we just want the club to move. Or that we want to sell our homes. Please understand, I am a mother. I have children. I have friends that come over and we enjoy our lovely setting. I just want to be safe. Please don't flame me. I never thought that moving here would be a danger to me or any of my family members. Maybe I was naive to think I could buy a home near a gun range and be safe. But, some of us did, because we DID trust the gun range to be responsible. We never thought we would be in danger of stray bullets because we just assumed a gun range would be very careful, no matter if what was next to them was a subdivsion, a school, a shopping center, empty acreage. I only hope we can all come together and figure out what is going on.

JID wrote: You guys seriously are morons for saying people should expect to have bullets whizzing by their heads for living close to a gun range. *IF* this is true, it is inexcusable on the part of the hunting club. You are blaming the people for buying houses close to a gun range - so, that means the gun club should be allowed to put up paper walls and spray bullets however they wish? Give me a break. ^^^WOW^^^ Nobody is saying that they should expect "bullets whizzing by their heads..." This is exactly how the media twist the words of people. Everyone is simply stating that the people shouldn't complain about it being noisy. If you live next to a gun range what else would you expect. This is a very safe range, and trust me nobody is "whizzing bullets by anyone's house" except of course maybe some idiot that was probably poaching. The developer was probably just too greedy to notice the surroundings.

I have not seen 1 person complain of the noise. It would seem logical to expect the bullets are coming from the range and they are concerned for their safety and the safety of others.

I think these people should consider themselves lucky to be able to experience what it's like to live in N. STL first hand only in hoosierville. They can pretend they are walking down Natural Bridge without ever leaving their own backyard for a cultural experience. All they need to do is add police and ambulance sirens along with a little RAP music blaring in the backround and there you have it ! Culture and Diversity at it's finest! Oh and borrow some monkeys from the zoo and arm them with hanguns!
