Look Amen, you are right on seat the belts, but that kind of language is uncalled for. The family has enough grief without you adding to it. I am telling you what to do, go some where else and run off your mouth. I am friends with this family and they are good people. Not hicks as you call it. Who are you, a miss goody two shoes? You talk about idiots, you are one.

Hey Yeah.. Yer Right... Anyone that would say such a comment about someone losing their life needs a piece of hick boot in the butt.. And as far as Resident of Ivy Bend.. As the name implies, I am a resident here, and I also know the family (quite well, since he worked for my father-in-law).. Accidents happen evey 15 seconds in this country, and seat belt or not, someone losing their life and a father losing his son isn't a joking matter.. As far as the "hick" comment from Amen.. You have no idea what a "hick" is; You shouldn't make assumptions without knowing the facts.. For all you know, some of us "hicks" might be closer than you think.

It does not matter who you are or where you are from...a death is a death and those who have died or lost someone needs all of the prayers they can get. I agree that people should buckel up but I also believe that just because someone didn't does not mean people have to be mean on here and call people "hicks"!!

PLease buckle youself and children. I see that lady in the big white car driving around town with her 9 year old son bopping all over the car! Even a wreck in town can send a child to heaven. Lets be kinder to each other this year!!!!!!!!!!

I am sending prayers and positive thoughts to the family of the man that was killed in the accident. May the Creator keep them in the palm of his hand while they grieve....

I cannot beleive how cruel people are. The world is in bad shape and people are out criticizing people they don't know or if they do know you have no right to inflict sadness to the family left behind. Do you =not have loved ones or any one who loves you? There is too much violence going on. What happeneds to our peacefull world full of love and not hatred. I hope the man above does not allow you the grief this family has to go theough

It doest matter where people live if they have lost a loved one.I know how it is to loose a son harder than loosing any one I have lost myDad My Mom and I have 2 grandsons who have lost their Mom And Dad and are only 10 and 14yrs old so I wouldnt be making any comments as where people live as it was a loving life that was lost You need to pray for the loved ones left behind dont try to Judge

You should never wish death on anyone - no matter how good or bad YOU think they are. Don't forget he has a mom, dad, sister, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins that love him. Just as you do. I also know this family. they are God loving family. what a terrible thing for you to say. Scottie was a good kid. he would help anyone that needed help. His parents are beautiful people.
How sad for you to judge him. Only God can do that. And just because they are from Ivy Bend.
I"ve from Ivy Bend. I"ve seen more careing people from there than any where else. One day you will eat your words. This family just lost there son.

I agree, Ivy Bend is a very close-knit community and for anyone to talk bad about....well, then they need to visit there and meet some of the people.

i cant belive you mean ass people....it could of happened to you family or friends and would you be ok with the cruel comments...scottie was a great kid who was loved by his parents and the whole ivy bend...people have their own reasons to wear or not to wear belts...so mind your own ....may god judge you as you are...my heart goes out to the whole ivy bend and the family

I'm sorry for what happened to ur friend. I do agree with u others because i have had friends that died to but, it wasnt by hicks as everyone calls them. I don't see what the problem is with hicks I'm a hick is there a problem with that?
