“This is what a police state looks like Cincy?” Yes, it is, and I would think you would be used to it by now. This obsession our government has for protecting us from ourselves, state mandated safety for all citizens in their ‘care.’ Mandated seat belt use (no matter the results of their own test in efficiency or safety,) Mandated helmet use (upps, we won that one back,) Anything they dream up that might gain them a little more control over us without stirring too much public outcry. One small step at a time, patiently moving forward, until they have the ‘right’ to mandate every facet of our lives from cradle to grave.

I look back at the history of our country as a whole. Even only going back to the time right after WW II would surprise you when you look beyond the public government painted view of reality. The Marshall/Truman plan, so masterfully put in to effect against all of Europe as well as our own citizens. A complete change in our school systems, spitting our rubber stamped young adults pre-focused on the meaningless drivel our government created mindless time wasting rivalries, all created to suppress critical intelligent thinking and to banish thereby allowing the creation of a linear economy based upon consumption and waste.

Gone forever the personal pride of a job well done, replaced by planned obsolesce and continuous economic driven consumption. The few in charge, power hungry, greed driven megalomaniacs, whose only care is for themselves and the other elite. Such a simple thing, to though the people a ‘bone’ of one of their puppets when the resistance gets too coordinated, once more generating a peaceful, respectful, and most importantly obedient population of servants.

Don’t feel bad for having a intelligent thought outside the acceptable box of Joe average Cincy, rejoice instead that you were able to rise above the brainwashed massed of our fellow Ohioans, and see beyond the government and corporate supplied media. Keep ‘thinking’ my friend. It won’t change anything, but you will feel a little bit better for a little while.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
