We don't have the time, resources, or patience. There's a recession, too.
Go back to Symbioland and stay.

11 She served her time in prison, she paid her debt to society. She has a family and a home here, why shouldn't she be able to return to them? As long as she complies with the terms of her parole, she should be able to come home, and stay here. |

3 1. "Former Symbionese Liberation Army member Sara Jane Olson, the St. Paul homemaker who was imprisoned for a murder committed by the radical group and attempted bombings of police cars..." "Was imprisoned for a murder committed by the radical group?" How about, "was found guilty of murder and sentenced to prison"? 2. "Olson, 62, was released from a California state prison in March 2008 but was rearrested and spent another year in prison because of a clerical error." "...spent another year in prison because of a clerical error"? I didn't realize you could go to prison for making a clerical error. How about "was erroneously released early as a result of a clerical error by correctional officials"? As to the substance of the matter, I consider myself a lefty who has always had total disdain for this Olson woman. |

1 She has NOT servered her time and paid her debt. She is still serving time on parole. Once she is completely off the books, then she can travel at will, until then, she is still a ward of the state. |

3 I just want to make sure people see what you posted, as your post is not long for this thread. What a tasteless, necrophiliac thing to say. You should be ashamed. |

They are waiting for the thought leaders to tell them what to think and say about the subject. For obvious reasons, they are reluctant to post until they have received their instructions. |

3 Alright, she has not quite finished paying her debt, she is also not asking to be able to just go anywhere she wants anytime she wants either. She made a request to be able to serve the rest of the debt (parole) here, where her family is. From the article: Corrections officials in CA and MN are reviewing the request. If approved, Olson would be part of CA's caseload and under the state's jurisdiction, but MN would monitor, supervise, and provide parole services for her. If the request is approved by both CA and MN, and she complies with the terms of parole, whatever they are, why should she not be allowed to come home and reunite with her family? |
