Crash kills Greenwood teen, hurts 4

I know who this girl is. She goes to my school, and woul have been a junior this year. I didn't really know her all that well. But the one who died, her name's Shelby Worthington.

i have known shelby, since she was 5.
here brothers are my best friends.

it's a tragedy that people have to go so fast with people in the car.

without regard for peoples saftey,it's an wye opening experence for everyone.

a sad sad day.

I don't see anything in the article that indicates speed was a factor but then again I don't know anyone involved.

I hope that the "Grief Counselors" that the school brings in expresses not just the tragedy of the situation.... but also the needlessness of it. Teenagers need to be reminded of their mortality not just comforted.

They need to be made to understand the consequences of their actions.

It is a hard lesson, but one that is vital none the less.

i think that people need to shut their mouths about "lessons that need to be learned".yes it is very unfortunate that shelby passed away nd im sure the last thing kids are thinking about is heyy the next time i get in the car im gonna remember that i don't wanna get thrown out of the back window of a car..they are thinking about shelby nd grieving for her, she couldn't make the decision to speed or not speed because she was not the driver of the vehicle nd yes she should of wore her seat belt but she never expected that it would be life or death when she got in the car either.its not her fault she died nd she didn't deserve it, i knew her very well considering she was my best friends twin sister..
