Traveling Through

Fairview Heights, IL

Traveled through town today and noticed that several buildings are being dropped on Commercial around 8th street. I understand the need, but will miss the glimpse into the past these buildings offered. Is this a city project? Any long term plans? Just curious. Been traveling through this town 5 to 10 times a year for 50 plus years on a routine North / South journey. I have seen many changes and have some very fond memories.

You are absolutely right. These good old Cairo enthusiasts DID NOT DO A DAMN THING to help Cairo achieve its current state of decay. You and the other crooks in Cairo/Alexander County are the ones who did that.
