Has anybody heard of Tom Ballard? Is he a good Landlod? Any Info would help.

he is a horrible landlord absolutely horrible.

Everything I've heard has been all bad stuff. I'd stay clear.

I ise to work 4 him when I was younger. He is good at what he does that is for sure and a hell of a hard worker. I am sure if there is a problem that was not caused by the person living there he would fix it in a heart beat

Horrible!!! my grandmother rented from him for 5 yrs then she was moving and b\c he rented to my brother previously at another location he refused to give my Grandmother her deposit back she was taking him to court bc he owed her 600$ but the ass got to keep it bc my grandmother had a stroke a month before court

Don't rent from this man. He lies, lost his builders license, a crook! Don't do it! Slum lord to the max!

this guy is a low life, he sleeps with some of the tenants in exchange for rent. or at least he use to when those Gurtlie girls lived in those shacks he rented beside the old bardstown laundry. its not slander if its true, and this shit is TRUE!!

Did anybody notice the puffy hairdo that janet johnston ( from the planning and zoning office,)was sporting tonight on the plg news? Where did she get all that hair?Must be a hairpiece?or fall on top of her own hair? But it looked really good!!!!She looked really really nice!!

I went to look at a mobile home he had for rent...He had told me that it was in "GOOD CONDITION" At the time I was pregnant and was looking for something with a yard...So my mother and I went to look at it..When I got there the outside didnt look to horrible but once on the inside it was water damaged 1/2 way up the walls..Looks like it had flooded inside it" and what looked to be dead roaches all over the flooring and in the cabinets...As a landlord stating something is in good condition you'd either warn someone of these problems before going to look at it...Or youd make a effort to fix it...

i know b/c my mom rented from him he will evict you for being a day late. And will not fix nothing. I would not rent at all from him.

I rent a house from him... have only met him once- usually deal with his wife (she showed the house, she calls when I'm late with rent, etc).

I've been a few days late a few times in the 3+ years I've rented from them. Never tried to evict me... they did harp on me a couple times this summer over my lawn needing mowed- my mower was stolen and had to borrow from my mom (not to mention the regular rains we had for a while).

Other than that, seem to be fine. I've only had to call for repair type stuff twice, and they sent someone out pretty quickly. Sorry to disappoint that I don't just get on here and bash them... but really not so bad.

I bought a house from him about a year ago... He lied to me about everything! Told me he was going to replace the ceiling fans, the hot water heater, and some other things. He didn't. Can't complain too much though. I like the house. and he didn't have it long enough to rent it out and let people tear it up. But I wouldn't trust him at all!! Everything he told me was a lie.

Before everybody gets on here and cries about everything tom ballard does wrong maybe yall should pay ur rent on time and by the way he still has his builders lis. Theres a bunch of tom ballards n bardstown get ur stuff staight

We have rented two different places from him and had him build our house. We haven't had any problem at all out of him or his wife. I think the world of both of them. When have had damage to our house from storms and I have called him. He does a great job. Him and his son both. I have a lot of respect for him.
