I know for a fact they make over 90k right out of school. Give Dana Kays or Tom Walton a call and ask them what they make a year, they've both been at Kroger for a long time. When you get your facts straight, log back on and say you were wrong
WoW!!! Can I get my head back! Some of you folks crack me up sometimes... In the earlier comment I said they made inbetween 75,000-105,000 and that is a true fact. That is a range that came from the University of Kentucky's 09' annual reports. Thats general range of what one makes in KY. I can't tell you how much them two guys make, but Im willing to bet its somewhere around them numbers, probably the high end of them because Bardstown is located in an economically thriving location. Also, I will not call them because I could careless what a pharmacists makes.

Obviously you DO care or you wouldn't have read this post, replied to this post, or looked up salary statistics on them!

I got to Kroger because, I get money off gas to fill my prescription there. I do think the pharmacists need some work in the customer service side of their jobs. Because other than filling some pill bottles, it's their job to have good customer service skills. Just the same as any job that deals with the public. I think it's ridiculous that they have my phone number, and won't call to tell me my sons ADHD medication isn't in stock. They just wait until I come back up there, and I have to wait another day.

I had to call them from my cell phone a few days ago and tell them there were 5 cars in line waiting to be helped. I got out of line and then they started to help the first car. I got my medicine and back out before they took care of the cars that were in front of me.

I didnt need to look up salary stats I already knew them :) You would know too if you had a college education. Atleast that would have gave you somewhat of a general idea.

Oh and the only reason I applied to this post is b/c it said "Kroger Pharmacy" and I wanted to get the insights on the Bardstown "Kroger Pharmacy" but once again the post was ambushed by a bunch of babies whining about service and how they made 200,000 a year. So I decided to inform you all, while you were in this uproar about them making 200,000, that they don't make that much. But other than that, I could careless. I didnt have to go out of my way to look anything up neither.

The saddest thing about this whole post to me doesn't have jack shit to do with how much the drug pushers at kroger make, or the long-ass wait times, but rather how self-proclaimed 'educated' people run their sucks on here about their 'college educations' but cannot spell or use correct punctuation or grammar. Where is Sister Theresa when you need her?

If you could care less then why don't you? I guess your college education didn't teach you that the expression is actually "I couldn't care less"

Go ahead and get the last word in though, I know your type, you're never wrong!

I just hate how people have to use their college education to make them out to be the right one in a conversation. Or to degrade someone else for not having one. Obviously your college education has helped you to be a pompous ass about things. As far as "babies whining" about poor service. Isn't that the insight you were looking for? How the service was? How much a pharmacist makes doesn't matter to me. The fact is, they have poor customer service, and that is part of what they get paid for.

No, that is not what they are paid for...they are paid to check prescriptions to make sure people get the correct medication..that's it. Everytime they are interrupted from that (to provide "customer service" or whatvever) is one more chance someone gets the wrong thing.. I'd rather have them checking to make sure everything's right instead of having to ask them to show me where the bandaids are.

I'm sorry, but if I need to ask a pharamcist what type of medication I can give my son for a cold that won't interfer with his other medications. I will. It is their job to provide me with "customer service or whatever". That's why right above their little window, it says, Pharamacist Help. You say left, I say right. It's whatever. Opinions are like assholes.

Pharmacists are suppose to ask the customer if they need to be counseled on their prescriptions, but they never do.

You are nuts if you think people ought to go there. Who wants to have to deal with Alison?? She is one of the meanest people I've ever met. But I'm sure her employees already know that.

Clearly you don't know her because that is not how you spell her name! And she is not mean she loves her customers and gets many compliments on how well she treats them.

You don't need a college education to look up salary statistics we did it all the time in my high school accounting class last year and hey guess what I just taught my eleven year old little sister how to do it last night for a project about what she wants to be when she grows up...I didn't know I was supposed to have a college degree for that!!

I have personally just changed our Pharmacy to Walgreens. I have been pleased. They have a text when it's ready prescription program. Much easier than waiting forever only to get there and they don't have it or it isn't ready.
